I like this game, it's got a few flaws but i've had fun with it so far.

My qualms are this:
The game needs a Stellaris treatment, come with some free updates that do some major reworks. I'm a dude who likes clicking and watching numbers grow, but the economy is a bit non sensical with there being no open market. Farms overproduce? No longer profitable, time to fire everyone instead of exporting the excess. Which I suppose you can do, but you have to micromanage it which is a pain in the ass. And why do I need to spend my convoys, when nations import from me? I don't quite get it. The economy game needs an economic system remake, kinda sad tbh.

Diplomacy and wars got some major issues

I was schewpid and forgot to claim all the land the US took from Mexico historically, so I ended up having som fugly mexican enclave in the middle of my land, and a bit of Texas kept by Mexico. I ofc wanted to take this off them later, but I had gotten too powerful military wise 5 years later af the truce was up. And for some reason, even though you choose war goals to take multiple states during the diplomatic play, if your enemy decides not to fight, you only get the original war goal. And then you're truced. This means that I had to wait 15 years to take 3 states so I could get proper US borders. It's stupid.

Warfare is kinda bad, your 70 unit general will attack the enemy with 45 units while the enemy fields 60 in the battle, causing you to get demolished. Why would someone going on the offensive attack with a massive numerical disadvantage? Maybe I just don't know how it works and I suck at the game.

Bugs, crashes. Strange AI decisions. Why is France always #1 world power? UK barely ever grows their GDP. The game is literally called Victoria.

There's more issues but i'm tired of writing.

Looking forward to the improvements, and considering the mixed reviews rn, Paradox might try to fix the initial flaws of the game for free rather than do it through DLC, maybe, probably not.

Ok game. Should never expect anything great on release from Pdox, CK3 was an outlier. Downvoting just to attract attention so Pdox notices the negative reviews.

Edit:

I have played nearly 300 hours now, I enjoy it, combat system still sucks ass but I like watching money number go up and the population getting smarter and happier :)
