I'm bummed out on this one, I should LOVE this game, but I don't. The laundry gameplay loop is what kills this game for me, and unfortunately the arcade aesthetic doesn't save it. You don't really have time to enjoy yourself and play the arcade games due to losing your cash and time to laundry. Wait 3 mins to wash - transfer - wait 3 mins to dry - place on counter. If you're a few seconds too late on doing your laundry duties then you earn barely anything. I get it though, main premise of the game is you're taking over a laundromat, I expected to do some laundry...just didn't expect it to be worse than doing it IRL.

Hey Coleman, thanks for leaving a review! Just wanted to chime in with a little pointer towards 'breaking the laundry loops'

The Laundry is very much an 'early game money generator' - though some people do enjoy continually doing it (weird flex but hey it's 2022, people like what they like!)

Once you've got a couple of arcade machines in, switching to using your time to playing them more and adapting their difficulty / cost in the PDA to drive their popularity will allow you to start generating more money than laundry could ever deliver - allowing you more time to complete game challenges and use the upgrade currency to replace the more tedious parts of the laundry day (safe opening, your watch, more hours in the day etc)

There's no 'wrong' way to play arcade paradise, and progression will be achievable whether you spend all your time playing arcades, or whether you enjoy still dabbling in the laundry side of things!
