The game is text and picture based. You will make choices that will either reward or punish you based on your clans history + the choices made by your ancestors. Slavers who hated water spirits? Best make choices that are aligned with this or you will be punished by your ancestors. You will also be managing your clans resources which includes food, cattle, people etc. while also managing your relations with your neighbors. You can also explore the world and uncover the map, different locations have different events tied to them. Another big thing the game has is rituals where one of your people goes through the story of a god, usually it is best to follow the steps the god took canonically but sometimes stepping off the beaten path does have it's benefits. I personally enjoyed the world and it's lore quite a lot, the art is also pleasing to my eyes.

Mostly bug free and quite stable game, I don't personally remember having the game crash on me at all and if I found any bugs they were minor enough to not remember. If you are only interested in the story/lore/characters of the world and not the resource management (though it is a part of the game and it's story) the game is relatively easy enough to cheat at to mostly "skip" that and enjoy the world.
