Core Keeper is the game I never knew I needed in my life. Imagine Minecraft and Stardew Valley had a baby, and that baby was raised by a family of adorable moles. That's Core Keeper.

From the moment I started digging, I knew I was in for a treat. The game is like a treasure hunt on steroids. Every time I hit a rock, I half-expect to find a pirate's chest or a dinosaur fossil. Spoiler alert: I found neither, but I did find a lot of dirt. And you know what? I loved every minute of it.

The graphics are charmingly retro, which is a fancy way of saying they look like they were made on a toaster. But who cares? It's all part of the charm. Plus, it means my ancient laptop can run it without sounding like it's about to take off.
