Performance could do with some work- but generally I'm keeping a stable frame rate. Performance aside, the game is brilliant and a great continuation of the series. Have realistic expectations of what your system can handle, this is a AAA game in the arse end of 2025, a 2011 laptop aint going to run it.

I understand people's complaints about this game in the sense of UI and all that. But as a roller coaster enthusiast that just wants to sit making parks all day, this is absolutely a stunning sequel to Planet Coaster and when the kinks get ironed out, it will be 10/10!

This doesn't work at the moment. Buy it through Battle.net if you want to access it instantly.

I adore this game. I've played around 200 hours on PC and consoles combined and feel this is everything I wanted a new Borderlands generation to feel. If you played any of the Borderlands and enjoyed it, you will LOVE this game. In my opinion, the only thing that I believe is better in the other games is the story. However, upon recent run through I have actually became quite fond and wouldn't say Borderlands 2's story is FAR superior, I just prefer the main villain of 2!

When it comes to the base systems of Borderlands (class system, skill trees, vehicles, storage upgrades, weapon & equipment rarities, mods, customisation, side quests, badass rank, DLCs, etc.) I feel the third game is an amazing upgrade. To me, all of these have taken everything that was great and more. My favourite thing that has been upgraded is guns and the skill trees. Levelling up has never felt better! All of the characters have SO many cool abilities and quirks.

The game is amazing to play with friends, and all of the new online systems and the 'cooperation/coompetition' system allow you to play on without friends on your own campaign if the host doesn't want to play as you'll always be able to go back and play and it be fun.

All in all, the base game in itself is more than worth the price (the sales are an amazing time to pick up the season passes too, but the first season pass is the most important one).

Even if you haven't played Borderlands 1 or 2, it doesn't matter. Borderlands 3 is more than able to stand up on its own and is an amazing first impression for its genre. If you like the look of this game, you will love it!

UPDATED:

SEE PAST THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS, THE HARD MAJORITY ARE OVER REACTIONS TO MINOR, NON-SERIOUS ISSUES THAT HAVE EITHER BEEN RESOLVED, OR ARE A WORK IN PROGRESS.

After now over a week of absolutely being hooked on this game, I would like to reaffirm my stance. I have coming up to 50 hours as of the time I am writing this, and I am absolutely in love with this new game. It is absolutely heart breaking to see how many people are having hissy fits over the littlest of issues they are having that aren't a big deal at all and do not take away from how good this game is.Yes, technical issues have happened with wheels that are being resolved, but what are we really expecting from a small scale development team trying to make such a good, feature rich game? Triple A titles with millions put into it have had worse results... and people are review bombing this game because of VISUAL glitches that are VERY minor. My only issues I have had with this game surround customising busses, and making it a little easier to duplicate designs onto other buses. The settings on this game are very customisable and there are many options as to how you can play the game. Once again, thank you for making such a good sequel to Bus Simulator 18, I adore this game <3

-Review posted on day one-
As someone who has played both Bus Simulator 16 and Bus Simulator 18, I can say with complete confidence that this new instalment is a major improvement from the last. The new USA map feels excellent to drive through, and is truly refreshing. A lot of previous features such as buying new buses and customisation now require you to be much more interactive by going to designated specialist buildings to do so. The driving feels new with how the wheel now operates to make driving more smooth on keyboard. The vehicle line up is outstanding and I cannot wait to try them all. If you are a Bus Simulator fan, this game is an amazing improvement from the last, and I am very excited to work my way through this game. Very happy to move from Bus Simulator 18 to this. Great job Stillalive and Astragon.
