Doing crossplay on Steam and iPad, I generally dislike mobile gaming but I actually really like this one. It feels like an old school tactics game (the music was even composed by Sakimoto) with a bit of Octopath and Fire Emblem mixed in. I do wish there were a paid version on PC so more people were willing to give it a chance here and they left the FTP model for mobile where over 5 million people have already tried it.

However, while I understand the hate on Steam, you can play this for hundreds of hours without needing to spend a dime even without doing the roguelike Spires mode which is totally separate from the main story and other challenges. I think a lot of people are confused and don't know how to generate currency, energy, summons, and all the other free stuff they throw at you just by playing. Either way, it's fun.
