This is a decent co-op game. It's not a very good single-player game.

I played this game solo (just like 1 & 2) and while I enjoyed the story, the gameplay is very dull. All of the puzzles are very simple and since they're split up for 2 players and you're only getting to play one half of it, it's very underwhelming. The bot will contribute what it needs to when you encounter a puzzle, otherwise it will just follow you around doing nothing. I would recommend playing this with a friend rather than solo.

a $30 upgrade with 5 minutes of additional content on an already $75 game just for the ability to 100% achievements...

the jiggle physics triggered some childhood trauma but it really sold the game for me and my male friends. We were absolutely powering through each level. the monsters would never catch up to us but they certainly caught us staring. 10/10 experience.
