Decent enough metroidvania, a bit too easy and short, but still has some satisfying powers you can use and it doesn't really overstay its welcome.

Fun game, becomes very gimmicky later on when enemies get stronger and you need to have the "right" powers to deal with their gimmick, which can become really annoying. Despite that, the game itself plays nicely and has nice twists to its story. The 2 characters only work to bridge the story together, as the locations and enemis you fight are pretty much the same except for boss fights.

Game starts slowly and continues to slowly open more to you. Once you are given the liberty to move everywhere you'll find an interesting world full of stuff to do. Combat is not for everyone though, it is definitely not a typical RPG so you can't expect to solo a camp of 5 bandits.

Same characters but now with superpowers. While it has a lot of guns and stuff like the old ones, the superpowers give a more versatile and highly mobile action. Not for everyone though, as purists will get triggered by it.

Probably worse than Civ 4, but no one cares. Don't play without expansions unless you want to get hilariously ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the features department. If you do manage to get over the incredibly boring first few turns, you'll just want to keep playing so you can tell yourself you managed to finish the match, and it wasn't all just a big waste of time.

I give it a 5/10 without expansions, 6/10 with only Gods and Kings, and 9/10 with Brave New World. 10/10 if I manage to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ get to the end without a civ calling me a warmonger when all I do is make science.

Finest indie game ever crafted. This game is nearly perfect, music, narration, gameplay, story, do yourself a favor and get it.

When did I get this game I never bought it omg its like magic. Its fun tho.

Minecraft in 2D focused on combat and gearing towards the endgame. Mine minerals, make weapons and armor, we have to go deeper, fight bosses.
