'Dishonored' surprised me in many ways.
The character design is very well done. Nice voices and good facial expressions.
In my opinion the graphics are good, but I have to admit that it takes some time getting used to them. Nevertheless, they fit in perfectly and the more advance into the world of Dishonored, the less you will bother about this detail.
The given powers are incredible, but still balanced, so they don't over-power you. It is still a challenge to sneak or fight through each mission.
The story is placed in a different world with own technology inventions, creatures, rules and also mysteries. It makes fun to learn more about that world, reading notes, or listen and talk to the people.
It is upon you how you solve each mission and even how the story ends. The game gives you the freedom to change your tactics at any time, or simply play it a second time with a complete different approach.
I've played it the first time for about 25 hrs. (checking all places, but without DLCs), and spent 40 hrs. in total (with DLCs). Playing it two times should entertain you for at least 60 hrs. That's just great if you consider the price, especially when you can get it for less than 15$/€ during a special sale on Steam. It is worth every penny.
