Barely an Assassin's Creed game. So much time spent going through unskippable cutscenes, and the game keeps crashing. When it does, you get to sit through the same cutscene again.

The hidden blade barely feels useful, the combat is just spamming the slash button. All the interesting finisher moves and combos that I had come to expect from this franchise has been dumbed down to a button mashing.

Climbing feels so nerfed compared to unity or syndicate. The game barely resembles Assassin's Creed that even having bought it at a discount, I regret spending my time on the game.

Update:
Turns out if I play it standing, the timing works better for me. Previously I was playing it while seated. So it's really just me and not the game.

I would still like to see a calibration tool and more controls over things like the speed of the notes or timing feedback, but it's a great game otherwise.

Previous review

I don't know what's wrong, but no matter how I try to set the latency offset, the music does not seem to sync with the beats. I play many other rhythm games so I don't think I'm that terrible, but I am unable to hit a lot of the notes in this game. There's also no way latency calibration tool so I have to keep playing a song just to see how off I was. And even after adjusting for it, the next song I play my latency is still the same amount offset.

I really wanted to like this game, but after playing for 30 minutes, it's still basically unplayable, even on the easiest difficulty. Maybe it's my headset, maybe it's my skill, but having a way to calibrate the audio offset or some explanation of how to properly offset the latency would at least let me know that the game is fine but I just suck at it.

Early Access Review
Think of fruit ninja but with more gore and dismemberment. What's there not to like? Though replayability is a bit limited with only three game types. Since it's early access, I do expect that they'll be adding more weapons or game types in the future.

Great game, though not sure how much I have to play to get the weight loss I keep hearing about. Most fun game I've had in a long time, high replayability from custom songs. Updates break the mods, but that's expected of any unofficial mod, remodding is simple.

Not too bad, somehow lose all my hours to this instead of studying.

The game is confusing and does not have a good tutorial. I tried to like the game, but after losing all my money and not knowing how to properly manage the planes, I gave up.
