far scarier than any horror game i've played in a while. the sound design is top notch. nothing is explicitly shown or explained, just subtle noises n occasional oddities. this lets your mind wander and fill in the blanks. every time i approached what i thought was a well-lit "safe" room or exit, i was greeted by another cold, foreboding space. i can't describe how effective this game is at creating tension. part of it is how well it resembles an actual dream you might have, and unlike most horror games, there's potential for genuinely relaxing playthroughs once you're more familiar with the setting.
