Fantastic co-op game that still keeps getting new free content many years after its release.

Highly recommend playing The Case of the Golden Idol first - the first game was fantastic, and the sequel is even better. The story is more complex, and the individual scenarios and connections between them are really satisfying to figure out. One of very few games that make me feel like a detective.

Best puzzle game I have ever played. The depth comes from incredibly clever and satisfying interactions between a small number of elements. I found some puzzles quite challenging, but not to the point of frustration, and the game has a fantastic hint system that makes it very approachable. I think this is the perfect game to recommend to anyone who likes puzzle games, but struggles with the more hardcore ones like Baba is You.

It takes 30 attempts to launch the game almost every time I try to play. Every time it fails, the stupid Origin launcher appears and complains about my EA Play subscription that I cancelled years ago. If the game worked properly, I would recommend it.

Overall the gameplay is really fun. I like the story and random chatter. The anime effects are cool. There's lots of cars and customization. I really liked NFS Heat, and Unbound is basically that but with a new story and style.

On the other hand: Cops during the day are annoying when trying to collect the too many collectibles and events. I wish you could remove some songs from the playlist like you could in the old games. The way races at meetups repeat is confusing, there could have been more variety and maybe dedicated off-road events; it's kinda pointless to build off-road cars now.

And there are too many technical issues... the game randomly doesn't launch, it stutters every time I collect something or escape the cops, you can't rebind controller buttons, some graphics options silently revert unless you edit them from the main menu, the audio mix is weird, the Origin launcher breaks AMD Software statistics, Steam Overlay doesn't work... It's especially frustrating when the issues combine - once my car got stuck outside the map during a cop chase, I had to close the game, and then it kept failing to launch for several minutes...

Very cute, love the characters, really fun interactive story. Only thing I'm missing is a button to slap Murl whenever he throws my card games.

Get this + expansions if you really like old school hardcore tactical shooters (1 hit = you are most likely dead, squad setup and control, replayability with various game modes, features that you don't see all that much nowadays), with still somewhat active modding community where huge mods like Heroes Unleashed rework parts of the game and add potentially hundreds of hours of new content.

Grab your friends, play this together, realize it's 5 in the morning, repeat.

The universe needs a hero. A masochist that will speedrun the entire game without dying. Seriously, I'd pay to see that.

So, this game. A wonderful platformer made by a Czech studio, which of course makes my review absolutely non-biased! I genuinely love it though. The levels are well designed and extremely difficult, but I never got frustrated thanks to the great soundtrack which let me replay one level for 40 minutes without rage-quitting. Make sure to lower the volume of sounds and voice to make the music stand out a bit more.

It plays well on a keyboard, can't compare it to a controller though because I don't own any. The graphics are stunning, with a great variety of effects that make everything feel very alive. There's multi-language dubbing, which is actually very good, and I think it's also pretty rare for indie games. Nice and intriguing story too, although I've seen some people say they don't like it, so do your own research I guess.

The main story took me 16 hours, and I still have lots of levels to finish 100%, and a bunch of collectibles and secrets I might just ignore because I honestly can't imagine how I missed like 20 dog tags. Seriously, where are those things O.o.

There are a couple bugs and missing features at the time I'm writing this (like rebindable keys, although you pretty much use 4 keys to control the player so... no big deal for me). The team is actively working to fix things though. There's also no demo version for those who'd want to just try the game out before purchasing, which I critiqued many games for and this will not be an exception, despite the low price. Make a demo please!

Would I recommend the game? Of course! Although if you're just a casual gamer who never played any hardcore games, you may want to proceed with caution.
