good game painful achievements

The more I play this game, the less I feel that I can recommend it in good faith. If you are just playing to have fun and mess around then it might be a fun game, but if you are a completionist then it's just a super hellish experience. This is probably best exemplified by a character like Jacob & Esau, who is absolutely awful and unfun to play because the game literally wasn't balanced around playing two characters at once, so instead of having a decent time or fair chance, you are just sat there praying that you manage to get some broken build that just plays the game for you. There are certainly other unfun parts of the game, but nothing has been as much of a slog as playing this character has been.

Maybe I'm missing something but I've really never seen the appeal of playing this game as it just isn't fun.

I kind of enjoy the game but honestly don't think i can recommend it. After 9 hours of playtime I've made it to 6-1 and lost because I got a dark level and couldn't see. Whether or not this death is my fault you can decide but I feel that this kind of death this far into the game piled upon other things like being cursed and permanently being at 1hp unless you play a specific minigame are quite dumb and often times a harsh punishment for a single or sometimes what feels like little to no mistakes. Bombs and ropes also now are more of a requirement rather than a payment for making a mistake. This coupled with them being rare to come by other than the occasional shop is another way of the game punishing you for no fault of your own. I don't despise this game nor am I in love with it.

Good game which I've had fun with but I can't completely recommend until the crashing is fixed. Sometimes it happens when an enemy attacks sometimes it's when you're just walking around but regardless the constant loss of new Personas and floors in a dungeon gets very old very quick. Buy at your own risk as you may or may not experience crashes.
