This game is not a masterpiece, yet it is incredibly addictive.

Gaming hasn't been this fun for me for quite some time. You can get lost in this world for hours, with its amazing atmosphere and funny dialogues; its fun yet sometimes difficult combat, and its overall toughness.

This game doesn't hold your hand, it shoves you out into the world after a couple of starting quests and tells you: "Do what you like, we won't restrain you. It's up to you to make your own story".
You can be a tradesman, a vassal or even forge your own empire, taking down those filthy Sarranids and claim victory for yourself. Don't think it will be easy though, once you get enough castles, it becomes a juggling act of resources such as food and troops, and of course, money. It can be easily made through pillaging villages, but at some point, you will face some angry enemy Lords who won't find you burning their villages quite so funny as you may.

Don't get put off by this games graphics. And sure, it may not be the most in depth RPG of its kind, but it's enough to make you want to experience your own adventures, as if you were really there. And isn't that what fantasy gaming is about?
