Rebirth is a gorgeous game.

I am loving the Music, the world Design and Combat. Sometimes just exploring for the sake of exploring to hear more music. The combat is more of what made Remake fun, with additions like Synergy attacks and Team Ups. The Team Ups are cool because they offer your team buffs (like Unlimited MP or Bonus Limit Break). This gives an extra complexity to the battle system that is interesting and fun.

The downsides I am finding are Chadley and the urgency of the mission. I feel like with all the exploration that is thrown at you, you kinda lose the threat of Shinra immediately, and find yourself exploring the Grasslands for errands Chadley has you in search of.

Don't get me wrong - some of these Side Quests are pretty well written and the activities aren't bad, it is just that I am sucked in and now on a journey of 100% the map, like an Ubisoft game, not enjoying the story of Final Fantasy. I hope this isn't to prolong the playtime.

High Marks for Music, Graphics and Combat. Especially Music!! I would would love to see more options for DLSS (Quality etc) but overall the art style and Graphics are very well done. Talking about DLSS does transition me into menu options. I would love to see a more robust ... dare I say even some basic PC menu options. There are some very limited PC menu options, even lacking an unlimited frame rate. I do feel like Square Enix has a LONG WAY to go for PC ports. This is strange considering they make FFXIV, which I play and love!

Overall, I highly recommend FFVII: Rebirth and hope you enjoy it if you choose to play it. :)

Early Access Review
Have you ever had one of those games, books, or movies that just grabs you and you don't want to put it down.

It feels like a breath of fresh air in the gaming landscape right now. I love the eerie music, the dark unforgiving tone. the straightforward (yet challenging combat). It really pushes you to learn and adapt and try something new or keep pushing forward. The only way to get better is to learn and pracice.

As someone who is new to POE, but not ARPG's it felt like home, with the Diablo 2 nostalgia, but also with vast improvements to QOL features. It has very impressive enemy variety (so far for End of Act 1) and Boss Combat Design.

It is not perfect, but it is just Early Access. Would I recommend it? Heck Yes! Even as Early Access. Go for it and have a blast!

I may be 2 years late to the party, but ... the party is still still rockin!!

Amazing Game. Beautiful World Building. Endless Exploration. Unique Boss Fights. Engaging Combats and Build Diversity.

Needs DLSS/ FSR Support, Ultrawide Support, Unlocked Frame rates, Armor Customization (Helmet Toggle), more PC options

Amazing and fun time. Especially with Co-Op Multiplayer. The best part is the crazy shenanigans you and your teammates will get yourself into. With Friendly Fire always On, the chaos is always a moment away and the laughter moments behind that.

I haven't played such a fun and humorous game set in such a serious gritty atmosphere.

The dichotomy is perfect and just cuts all the seriousness of the engagements down with a playdoh knife from your child's playroom yet you all still have to nuke that giant spider bug before you extract! Genius gaming!

I only hope the future of this game holds more stable Server integration, an in depth road map and more PC Options, like DLSS!

I played MHW back in 2018, on the PS4, but I have just started a brand new save file on PC and completely love it. Monster Hunter World is a fun experience solo, but I can't wait to get through the main story and into High Rank to hunt with others. So satisfying once you start to learn to monsters movements and really understand your weapon. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves the thrill of the hunt, crafting, action games and rpg mechanics.

Wild Hearts is a fun and exciting addition to the hunting genre. I love the Karukuri system. Building structures and tools to help you in the hunt and also persistent structures to the open world that assist you in your adventure. You can build camps, zip-lines, radar towers, and more all to help you move throughout the world of Azuma more efficiently in preparation for and during your hunts.

The combat feels fun and is inviting. It isn't super complex, but the addition of the building allows you to go deeper into each weapon's skill ceiling and also how you want to approach each hunt.

I am liking that part so far, though it does take a few hunts to get used to not panic building and letting go of the RB after building.

The enemy designs are really cool - Monsters mixed with overgrown nature. The art direction carries it for sure as the graphics are nothing to write home about. They are reasonable, but for a game only on PS5, XBSX/S and PC ... it certainly isn't anything next level graphically.

Also, the gameplay may be fun and engaging, but the performance is not without its short comings. I am only in the first area and running my 4080 with a 7700x and 32gb DDR5 I am having to run 4k on mostly medium settings. This gets me to 60 FPS, sometimes higher. I feel like I should be able to hit higher FPS on Medium Settings and not have as much instability. It isn't a downfall, but not everyone has a 40 series card and that is a bummer to release and not be more optimized.

Overall, I feel this is a great addition to the hunting genre and hope it gets support in the future. However, it has to be earned and that means the devs need to patch and fix these performance issues soon, before people move on to the next game in a busy 2023.

Played this on PlayStation 5. What a great experience on PC! It is optimized very well and plays so well on keyboard and mouse. I definitely recommend downloading this one, if you like a challenging rogue like shooter! Great Game!
