The product is perfect. I always loved SMITE and put several hundred hours into it since the first closed beta. A new engine and a fresh start is precisely what the game needed and I am happy this product exists, I can't recommend the game over it's current player-base.

-In every game there are console players capable of gaining 30 deaths in a standard conquest match (I have checked on tracker.gg and they are ALWAYS console players)
-No way of turning off crossplay
-If any obstacle is shown in a match people immediately surrender. I can't remember the last time I finished a game by destroying the titan

I like the new coat and the lack of hundreds of cosmetics from a million different franchises (I know this is only temporary), but I just can't stand the players. It makes the game unplayable, so unless you have a 5 stack for conquests of at least 3 stack for joust I would completely avoid this game.

DO NOT BUY THE GAME AT FULL PRICE AS IT IS NOW

The game is generally good and, offers fun mechanics HOWEVER it does not feel polished at all for trying to look like its AAA produced

+Fun puzzles and secrets
+Progression seems deep and engaging
+Graphics are great
+Story is fine

-Combat is pretty unresponsive compared to Blade and Sorcery as it is very similar. Often hits don't count (yours or the enemies). Blocks and parries are often also ignored
-Momentum from rope swings is cancelled as you cut the rope. Which is often immersion breaking.
-Game often lags and has to be restarted
-I am worried that puzzles and arena style enemy encounters will get boring really soon

It is not a bad game at all. I was just expecting something more from all the teasers and marketing. I am mainly disappointed by the combat being as janky as it is but all together it is so far a FINE experience. If you are into sword fighting you should rather invest in Blade and Sorcery.

I have misjudged the game by giving it a negative review. I have joined the official discord and am now far more in touch with the development cycle of this game. Furthermore I have invested another 10 hours into the game just hunting achievements which has been pretty fun and giving me a lot of motivation despite having completed the games main objectives in less than 7 hours.

The game offers great little fun interactable details, it's darkness is immersive and just holding the torch or wearing NVG's gives a whole new perspective to each level type. I also really enjoy this setting with the demon raids having me on edge all the time, especially the nigh garage where the alpha demon spawns.

Remember that this game is being developed by one man so content won't be pouring in any time soon, but for what it's worth it is a very fun experience and I do see myself coming back to it despite the game's numerous issues and me giving it a negative review for lack of content in the past. I believe in this project.

Some noteworthy bugs and issues:
-Braindead bandits (will get updated in the next patch)
-Bandits only having one type of weapon (also getting updated) and dropping almost no ammo for it
-Enemies walking through solid objects
-Stuff spawning in walls
-When breaking planks with your knife, you have to hit a very specific spot at a very specific angle
-An underground bandit cache (high tier loot stash) in the garage map requires you to almost lay down on the ground and pull your backpack off under the floor to loot it as the cache is covered by a collider even though the planks covering it are broken
-On the night garage map sprinting triggers demons from over the wall (which is basically across the whole map since the whole thing is a maze), but despite leaving the area and the enemies having no way to get to you an annoying repeating action music track will keep playing until you kill those enemies. This ruins the atmosphere quite a bit

Game chat filtered to suit Chinese propaganda. This is unacceptable and a huge red flag.

A game so painfully generic it lost me in the tutorial. I don't know how MMORPG's do this. Why your character in a MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER online role playing game always has to be the chosen ONE!

- I thought the combat would be a lot more "free" but it turned out to be tab targeting
- "Morphing" is just really boring as it isn't even a substitute for mounts but for running (it's resource is your stamina)
- My character was an elderly man and in the story I meet a young mage that rescued me as a little child from my village a few years back.... yeah

If I find out that this game has some great endgame content I may just suffer through this game's cringe world and maybe change this review in the future, but I doubt it xD I've played too many of these games to believe that this will be any good.

A very fun 2GB bootleg version of CoD even with Warzone

- This is a mobile game and many things like HUD arrangement and certain settings haven't been carried over to PC correctly
- I am very suspicious that most players are bots, the lack of in-game chat and their retarded movement supports this

Overall a fun experience that is much more fun than actual CoD these days. At least give it a try. Its only 2GB :D

The game is just great. I am glad its finally on steam. As for all the criticism the game is getting. Think of the "free to play" model as a demo and you still have to buy the game if your want the full experience. I personally don't find anything wrong with this apart from the fact that it could be voiced better.

Listen up guys. The game is great. I don't see how making and linking a PSN account is such a dealbreaker. Most of the guys hating on this make accounts, accept cookies and EULAs everywhere they go without giving a second thought and suddenly it's a major problem.

I understand that in bird culture this is considered a ♥♥♥♥ move or whatever but it is what comes with playing a game released by such a corporation like sony. I'm not saying its OK or that you should not make your opinion be heard. I just think some people are taking it a little too far.

Enjoy the game for what it is, have fun, make love and spread managed democracy!

The game is very promising. It is one of the (if not THE) biggest VR games right now. It has it's issues but I had enough time to see this game evolve to tell that CWS is doing all they can to improve and build upon the game. You don't even have to be an extraction shooter fan to enjoy this as VR gives this game the freedom it requires to be fun (you don't need to learn crazy keyboard combos just to check how much ammo you have or do a different type of reload). I can recommend this game to anyone just beware that the game is still very far from being completed and THERE IS JANK..... and a lot of kids for some reason.

Do you like screaming 8 year olds?
Do you like getting camped by naked dudes behind every corner?
Do you enjoy having the devs announce a wipe date and then end up wiping the game 2 days prior to that "because it's more convenient for them"?

I'm not gonna cry about the the "everyday jank" as the game is openly early access and in pretty early development. But I feel very disrespected by them announcing a date for the wipe and still wiping it whenever they felt like it. I cannot recommend a game where you can't even trust the devs. I absolutely understand that this must have eased the work for them a little bit, but then don't give us a date or at the very least don't choose a date that doesn't suit you and then change it without announcing anything upfront... Its shameful at the very least but judging by the toxic moderators and community on their official discord that my opinion doesn't really matter to them so it might matter more here.

I'm really sorry but I also don't order a plumber for the 8th and don't get a call to work from him on the 6th. That he's banging on my door and I'm not home and it's somehow my problem, because this is more suitable for him... RIIIDICULUS!

For a free to play title this is very fun. Very janky but beats all my expectations.
