Not really happy about dropping Linux. I'd understand if they were a small independent studio, but they have Epic money now, even though UE3 isn't very Linux friendly it shouldn't be too much of an issue for them to maintain already existing support.

I have mixed feelings about the shadowkeep expansion and how they took out some stuff that was in the base game (the progression the game used to have is just gone), but I still think it's worth it for the Red War and Forsaken campaigns, and it's an especially good game to play with friends/family.

UPDATED: Yeah, switching to negative because they just keep removing stuff (that I payed for) & charging a lot for new stuff which isn't cool at all. I had something of a hankering to replay the Red War campaign a few months ago and guess what you can't; it just doesn't exist any more.

I've stopped playing as of Witch Queen (even though I hear it's not a bad expansion), and I've decided I'm not coming back or paying for anything new in this game until they bring back old content and/or flip the switch to let the game work with Proton e.g. on on Steam OS on the Steam Deck.

Pros:

• One of the best serious time travel stories I've ever seen.
  
• Time powers are fun.
  
• The graphics are pretty high quality.
  
• Seriously, the story is insanely well written. The closer I look the more it makes sense, which is uncommon for time travel stories.

Cons:

• The powers are given to you fairly fast, making the late game less interesting gameplay-wise.
  
• The TV show is streamed, meaning if you're on a slow or metered connection you may not be able to watch it.

If you are interested in serious time travel stories, go for it. However, if the gameplay doesn't look interesting you may be better off watching a playthrough on YouTube. You'll miss out on some of the details of the story and make the junction choices, but it'll be faster and less expensive.

My preference for junction choices: PR -> Doesn't really matter -> Amaral -> Surrender.

This is a must-play for anyone with a VR headset.

Suprisingly fun for how simple it is. And considering it's free...

Came expecting Stanley Parable, got emotionally punched in the gut instead. (In a good way)

It takes some getting used to, sure, but I'm to the point now where I use it for all sorts of games comfortably, ranging from Civ V to Rocket League to Mass Effect. I'd put it about on par with mouse+kb depending on the game, and I definitely prefer it to a standard Xbox or Playstation controller. The only thing that I wish it could do is work with consoles, but I understand why that would be too difficult to do. I miss my grips and touchpads when I have to use other gamepads though... :/

UPDATE: After a few months of usage the right bumper busted and I am currently in the process of getting a replacement. Unless Valve really messes up the replacement process I still totally recommend the controller though.

Very powerful tool, and you can't argue with the price. I've personally used it for simple animations, VFX, and making models for use in UE4.

Nothing quite like bombarding your enemy on another planet with nukes, then finishing him off with another planet in his face. Also: Linux.
