10/10, good, $10, fun, 1v1/2v2 FPS, no p2w at all, gives me the feeling of getting addicted to Pkmn cards but I pull a Grenade Launcher instead of a Shiny Charizard.

Everything from Fuga 1 except better and with more QoL features. Playing the first game beforehand is probably not mandatory but I'd STRONGLY recommend it. Yes, both games are worth full price. Please buy it or Mei starves and does not survive the harsh Gasco winter.


Additionally you may want to play the Nintendo DS game 'Solatorobo' to understand a few name drops and 'hows & whys'. No, you can't buy that one and used copies are expensive, but you know how to play it wink wink.

One of the best RPGs I have ever played. The gameplay, story, music, and art are top notch. All issues I have with the game are minimal QoL. I paid full price for the game and have zero regrets besides not buying it sooner, and not buying Solatorobo when it came out.

This game is criminally unnoticed and underrated. Buy it now, just remember that children are not ammo. Not even Boron Brioche.

Planetside is run by troglodytes who refuse or are unable to fix 10 year old balance and performance issues, and the zergling playerbase who occupy Planetmans aren’t much brighter.

This game should be used as an example in a 6-month course on how NOT to design an FPS game.

I was planning on writing an in-depth review, but it would almost entirely be spoilers. Just enter the game blind, it’s worth it. Playing the first Entropy Zero is recommended but not needed to understand the events of two. And frankly Entropy Zero 1’s final boss and strange ending puzzles are a scar on an otherwise great mod, but this isn’t an EZ1 review.

That Entropy Zero 2 is not only extremely impressive on gameplay, visual, and technical fronts while being ENTIRELY FREE feels like a crime. I feel like I should be paying the devs at least $20 minimum. I don’t think I’ve ever said “the Source Engine can do that?” so many times in one mod.

Calling Entropy Zero 2 “a mod” is also a massive understatement. This isn’t just a collection of player-made HL2 maps, It is an entire 6 to 8 hour (results may vary, don’t rush) game in its own right with new enemies, new weapons, rebalanced hl2 weapons, new ally/enemy AI, a fitting story, and consistent quality throughout.

Just play it. Even if you don’t like Half Life games, even if you didn’t like Black Mesa. I fully believe this is a better experience.
