Extremely fun and replayable. Overall great heisting game that is just loaded with content that you can play for hours.

Great improvements from Payday 2 but missing some quality of life elements that are already in Payday 2. This game desperately needs an offline mode especially with how the servers didn't work for the first 3 days on launch. This game will be supported for years so hopefully Starbreeze gets their ♥♥♥♥ together and listens to feedback. Overall the gameplay itself is an improvement, stealth improved greatly, and loud is still lots of fun with the enhanced gunplay.

as this DLC is again exploration and mystery based. Major aspects of your experience may be ruined if you look too much into it.

And I thought it couldn't get any better. Just WOW! From start to finish I absolutely loved this DLC! The horror aspects were unexpected but complemented the rest of it very well and didn't overstay its welcome. Similarly to the main game it utilizes the time-loop mechanic effectively and builds upon it in ways I wasn't expecting. After figuring out how to get to the Stranger, I wasn't expecting to be in a Halo Ring with SO MANY different details, mechanics and mysteries to be found. Echoes of the Eye absolutely perfected the base game and creatively twisted it which showed surprising effects during the DLC. Also, the story gives a heavy sense of melancholy whilst figuring out its terrible actions and past. The horror sections really challenge what you know and your creativity as they always have multiple ways to complete them. Once you've figured it all out and free the Prisoner. Sharing stories between characters fills you with sorrow as you both know that nothing can be done since you're both long dead awaiting the end of the universe. The bright ending going off on the raft heavily reflects the overarching theme of this story as it comes to a close. Overall, I love the base game and this DLC too. Its a must buy and I even recommend that you bundle it when you buy the game! If only they made another.
