I'll be honest, I was reluctant to play this game. Conceptually, it seemed pretty boring and the idea seemed dreadfully overplayed. At it's core, I really didn't want to like it.

And then I played it.

I'm not a fuge fan of overhead twin-stick shooters, but Larva Mortus did it right. In the whopping 3.8 hours I've played I must say it's very fun and pretty well balanced. The only problem that really bothered me is the levelling system. It takes a while to rank up (In my opinion, others may think it's balanced well) and when you do you only get one skill point to put into one of 8 (I think) categories. In this game, one skill point isn't enough. Beside that, it's a fun game to play if you're bored and looking for a way to pass time.
