probably one of the better stories in the MH series — a lot of people are having optimization problems, but as someone who doesn't get performance problems, this game really captures the breathtaking, immersive ecosystems of MH: World and has completely blown me away with all the details and quality of life mechanics they added

nice mix of mySims & animal crossing with more of a focus of active town management, lots of quality of life when it comes to building your city how you want it, and a cute and bright artstyle that's pleasant to look at! really helped curb my animal crossing cravings now that i no longer own a switch

perfect example of what a videogame overhaul should look like -- only complaints so far is that AI still seems a bit janky on island maps (struggle to expand to main land, etc) and my friends and i have to fully quit AOM:R after every game in order to join each other's lobbies again

otherwise, a complete nostalgic masterpiece that i look forward to seeing develop even further and introduce new gods!!

i actually really love this game. I haven't had any of the server/connectivity issues I've seen other users mention, so all in all it's been a solid experience. you can hop right in and get a handle for the controls/game "objectives" without even playing the tutorial. sometimes challenging, but very rewarding because you actually feel like you're training to become a better dragon rider

my only real complaints are the matchmaking; if you need to get out of queue for whatever reason, it has a timer for actual leaving the queue. which can be an annoyance if you happen to misclick on buttons like i do

ultimately i would also love to see more customization options for the dragon riders themselves. it would make more sense for players to work towards hatching unique dragons, but also have a little freedom designing their own unique rider. it's also kind of difficult to unlock cosmetics in general since you seem to only really unlock anything by progressing through their level system, but everyone gets the same stuff at the same tiers so no one ends up looking unique or different LOL

8/10, look forward to see how this game evolves and develops

this game is definitely a challenge at first, and yes the favour may lean towards the killer, but it is by no means impossible to excel and even completely waste the killer as a scavenger. i loved dbd, but im honestly finding this game to have a more satisfying and thrilling stealth/action/survival blend. in DBD, you can unhook players, flash the killer, run circles around the killer in an attempt to take their attention off your teammates... in deathgarden, you can throw heals onto players mid-chase, smoke them out, make them invisible. it's AWESOME. especially when other players get more ballsy or return your cooperative teamwork.

everybody's bound to hate this game during the first 1-2 hours LOL but it's more or less the same kind of addictive trap as league

ever since I was 12 I've been playing around with modular animation (originally, on Flash CS5) but the big-name programs I needed to do so were way expensive for me. I got spriter while it was on sale and it is easy to understand and get into if you already have a concept as to how modular animation works, and how the program itself works, and it's exactly what I've been looking for ever since I lost Flash.
I probably wouldn't recommend this to anyone who's expecting it to be like flash whereas there's a built-in art program or if they're new to animation itself. when I first opened up spriter my mind pulled a complete blank, because you're really given nothing to start off with aside from the "test model" that they EXTERNALLY provide. but if you have experience with modular animation then go for it :D
