the core game has always been iconic and fun. i've stuck with it because i've always loved it. activision and blizzard need to screw their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ heads on straight, because they don't seem to understand the potential that they are constantly squandering. overwatch, at it's height, was on top of the world. it set industry standards. "hero-based" video games exist because of how good overwatch is. but the monetization, the horrible communication, the disgusting and appalling actions constantly committed by the reprehensible sub-human freaks in upper management, it's a disgrace to this franchise. it really is something special, but i hope it won't always be subject to such hatred. i hope the publishers loosen the reigns (or hopefully just get replaced completely) so this game and it's truly talented devs can breathe and do what they do best; make the game everyone hopes overwatch will be.
