I really hoped that it was a joke... it isn't and I'm really disappointed. 36 characters, 4 playable characters for free. Can't check or change the commands with my keyboard. Can't play the story mode. Sorry, this is NOT a free to play, this is not a game, this is just a pay wall.

Edit (answer to farellfoxx) cause this comment was too long, and is probably better as a part of this review:
And even if I can "just buy the game". Why did they put this free disgusting version on Steam while their game was already a pay to play? They did this to attract more players which is a good thing, but if you're spitting on the players you're trying to attract by giving them the worst experience possible (aka the middle finger), how do you want to attract more than a few players/fans?

It's insulting to merchandise this demo as a free to play. Do not make me believe that there is a free to play game where the only thing I can find is a demo and a massive middle finger. Do they really think that this huge pay wall is an experience enjoyable enough to make free players actually buy the game even if the final (and by final I mean the real) product is good/at least decent?
By checking the reviews, you can understand that they were wrong.

I would really rather buy this game as a pay to play instead of trying this disgusting pay wall that they call a free to play, complain because you're so limited that this is pure ♥♥♥♥, and have someone that says "Oh, you're really disgusted by this free version, then you should just give them your money (instead of buying something else) even if you hated this first experience." (No, this isn't a personal attack).

If you've been triggered, I have nothing to say to you.

I really loved this franchise, but I'm sorry if I don't want to buy this game after I've tried the free version, maybe I should, but like ☆SA☆Hito said, I'm probably too triggered right now

As a consumer, even if I received or tested the product for free, I can and I should give feedbacks. Without feedbacks to separate the good products from the bad ones,

it helps the community (they are more likely to try a game with a positive opinion, and it helps them when they are looking for a game, without this, they should try every games to know which ones are good and which ones are bad.)

and it helps the company behind the game to, they can improve their products and the game with positive opinions are rewarded by the popularity caused by the positive feedbacks.

To be honest, I don't know. That was the point of what I said.

lol, don't stay stuck on this quick and not really well explained example. And if we're following your reasoning, why would people "bitch about" free to play games, after all, they didn't pay for it, why would they give feedbacks (especially the bad ones)?

Why would you bitch about a free food sample?
CDAtlas 21 Aug, 2017 @ 11:33am
yeah, maybe. it was not on my must buy list, but at least I was happy that this good franchise was moving on PC.

I think he wanted to buy it, but then saw it was F2P and got triggered

when you are tasting a free food sample, if you don't like that first experience, why would you buy the final product?
