What started as a promising return to a storied series ended up being a disappointing game that gets very repetitve. This game would be acceptable at $20, but $60 for a story that loses its steam about 1/3 through, repetitive/LIMITED enemy types (seriously, where in the HELL is the enemy variety of the previous games, like hunters, lickers, crows, zombies, plants, etc.) The molded got old incredibly quick and the insects became more of a nuissance than a terrifying threat. I was severely let down by this games lack of triple monitor support (in 2017, how Capcom doesn't support this on RE4,5, and 7, is simply lazy and infuriating.) This game just ended up being dull and infuriating, makes me question whether to follow hype and whether I can trust Capcom to make the classic gems they're known for anymore.
