TL;DR As of now, this game is not worth the money. AND I don't have faith that the developer has the ability to deliver on this game.

UPDATE: 11/29/19 Still no new content. In fact no updates AT ALL past the first week.

The truth is: no new content has been added in the six years it took this update to come out. The game has only moved sideways. Yes, it is true that the game is still built on the great foundations the alpha revealed, but in reality, this game is still in alpha. The quests are repetitive, flat, and boring. The combat is okay, but not nearly engaging enough for it to be the only thing this game has going for it. Say what you want about the new region locking or artifacts, but it is not the main problem. The main problem is the developers lack of motivation or ability to make this a real game.

There is little to no risk in buying this game, the entire gameplay loop only lasts 2 hours. You can always refund it after that time. I wish I could leave a positive review, because I do enjoy this game. But it's currently $20 too expensive.

(Maybe I'm wrong... I will edit my review in the coming months if these updates turn around)

PRO TIP: When you die, you can use the up arrow key to restart instead of having to reach over and press the space bar.

Can't wait for the sequel!
