Thanks to necro fanaticism I wont reply in the thread; but if you still didn't find a way to run Medieval 2 in 4:3 you can check an option called something like image scale or something in your monitor, it will be full and you can change it to scale I believe. That way the image will no longer be stretched (provided you're using a 4:3 resolution like 1280/1024 for example).
