The devs and publisher are now forcing players to download a TOTALLY USELESS LAUNCHER. Do not buy or support this game or its dlc until this is removed. PLEASE SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY BY VOICING YOUR CRITICISM AND WITHOLDING YOUR DOLLARS. PARADOX AND C.O.: *REMOVE THE LAUNCHER ASAP*

(This is a long review from a dedicated OG player, brace yourself) GTAV has been around for more than 3 years now, and everyone mostly concurs that the story mode is fantastic, which it is in my opinion as well. Therefore, this review is more geared towards GTA Online. First off, I've been on GTA online since day 1 (October 2013, ps3) and have nearly 700 hours logged in playtime. Ive purchased this game 3 times: PS3 , PS4, and now recently PC. Needles to say, its one of my favorite online games to play, but that is starting to change. Since the heists and lowriders dlc, Ive noticed R* are adding a fantastic amount and quality of content into GTA online, however they are simultaneously ruining it. GTA online's microtransactions (Shark Cards) have reportedly generated half a billion dollars in revenue (thats more than the games budget itself which is around 300 million, not to mention the monstrous 70 million copies the game has sold.)
What do all these numbers mean? It means R* are ROLLING in money, so why do they treat they're online playerbase like that of a free to play game? Ive spent hours grinding the new Import Export DLC, and havent been able to enjoy any of it because the game's economy is ridiculoously inflated. The game's online economy has been a flaw since launch, but now its realy going downhill. This is made worse because of R* introducing restrictive rules: You cannot play the Import Export DLC if youre a solo type player, you need to be in a public lobby. This enables other players to interfere and ruin your mission thus stealing your money. Also, they've implemented cool-down times that force you to wait around 5-10 mins to do another mission, further slowing down your cash flow. Theyre obviously taking advantage of the community by milking them for shark cards. If youre a first time buyer of GTAV ( I doubt anyone is at this point) I think the game is woth its thirty dollar price tag based on the single player alone, but the online is BS, and it seems R* is going away from their greatness BEWARE
