why can i only invite people through ubisoft connect, and why is it now tied to ubisoft connect instead of steam, if i don't know my password to my ubisoft connect account, i can't play the game i Bought On Steam. it's more convenient for me to go to walmart, get a physical copy of uno, go to my partners house, and play ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ uno, God

the only game that let me spend an actual 4 hours trying to shove 2 characters into a pit and the only one that actually rewards me for doing it

i thought my experience of every 20 minute crashing was due to the steam deck, not because this was done by the people who ported Arkham Knight lol

absolutely a good game, don’t buy it now tho, its not in a stable condition lol

UPDATE: at the time of this review, april 2nd, the game is stable for me on my steam deck running at 30fps with no major errors. small graphical glitches such as some models being textured all black but that’s really it, so i’m gonna recommend this now :)

by far one of the best video games i’ve ever played, stuck with me in a way very few has, even the title that came before it which largely impacted me. this game is an absurdly outlandish piece of art that doesn’t hold back from being unapologetically itself, very few games achieve something like this one too.

psychological horror or psychological help? both, also neither

i basically like a good half of this collection, to be honest i really wish i could get this without Uncharted: Lost Legacy. i really like Chloe being back in the game, and i think her and Nadine interact really well, but the game design of lost legacy just… eugh it didn’t do it for me. i’d be very willing to try again and continue it, but after realizing the overall game would be structured over a semi open world you chose the order you do the temples in…. yeah idk i wasn’t into it. felt much more lifeless than 4 & prior games, i get it was going for something pretty different but playing it right after the thrill ride that is Uncharted 4, it didn’t really do much for me.

Still love Uncharted 4 tho, would gladly get it alone for the asking price of this collection, amazing game. ran great on the deck too! locked at 30fps on high preset graphics is super good! only got occasional frame drops, even when stuff was going crazy in the game it was pretty smooth, even the giant car part after the clock tower in madagascar was shockingly smooth. the only parts that stuttered it a little were some of the shootouts in Libertalia, but really they were only dropping down to like 25fps at the worst, so really nothing bad at all! overall REALLY good deck experience. same goes for Lost Legacy from what i played of it, the opening area drops frames but seeing as you aren’t really doing anything besides walking, didn’t really make a difference. definitely recommend if you have a deck!

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS A STEAM DECK REVIEW

i usually don’t want to review a game this early into my playthrough, my overall experience is not something i can describe yet because i’m nowhere near the end of this game, but i have to say, unless you own a next gen console or are playing on a very high end gaming PC, DO NOT get this game.

this is an extremely fun game in my opinion, it’s horror is that cheesy jumpscare mixed in with the occasional whisper to spook you, by no means is it scary but it definitely accomplishes being an effective and entertaining action horror game.
i read a lot of reviews when this came out saying that the combat is virtually impossible, and i have to strongly disagree. the core combat here is incredibly fun, skill based dodging, keeping track of enemies, having to work with different tools, and the pretty intense violence makes for a striking action game that really holds hands with dead space through & through.

No, the problem with the combat does not come from designed difficultly, it comes from the difficulty of the frame rate not dropping into the core of the earth whenever more than 2 things are on screen at once. Full disclaimer, im playing this on the steam deck, im playing it directly downloaded onto my consoles memory & not an SD card just to avoid any possible issues, and i have the game locked at 30fps because even with the absolute LOWEST graphics settings i don’t ever hit above 35. this game does NOT work, i’ve now encountered a group of 3 enemies twice and every time this happened my frame rate went from relatively 30 with the occasional dip to the 26-29 range, to now tumbling down to 15-20 fps. i could even maybe cope with a consistent 20fps, i have played TLOU2 on a base PS4, this is something i don’t mind, but i am absolutely not locking my steam deck to 15fps to play a game that’s dodge system is incredibly visually communicated and requires quite strict timing. it is, in the state im playing it in right now, almost unplayable. despite this, im going to continue playing it, and suffering, and will eventually update this review if things are changed in the future. but as of now, what i thought was supposed to be “stable”, based on all the videos i saw online of people running this game at 30fps consistently, is a complete mess.

I’m gonna take a second to criticize reviewers & testers here, do not, and i repeat, DO NOT show off your footage “testing” the game in its less demanding parts. games have parts that are very light in what they demand of your system, it’s my fault for believing someone when they showed off deck gameplay of this game with 2 enemies running 30fps consistently, but i shouldn’t have had to doubt that. PLEASE, if you are going to make videos and reviews that discuss whether the game WORKS or not, you NEED to put the absolute stress test on. the Gondola part in this game? this is borderline UNPLAYABLE, you are doing everyone a disservice by framing the game as ALWAYS running consistently, it DOES NOT.

don’t buy this game, if i could i would refund it, but seeing as i can’t because i spent so much time messing around with the graphics trying to make it work properly, i can’t anymore. it’s a shame to see such potential wasted, what could’ve been an amazing game is just buried under one massive issue that ruins the entire experience for me.

UPDATE: Yeah, i tried playing more and gave up. steam gave me a refund & i’m very pleased with them about this. get this game when it’s stable.

i was given the option to review this game, but when looking through my steam i quite literally cannot find it displayed anywhere my playtime on this, so i am writing this review to see how much time i sunk into this like 6 years ago before my PC at the time could run overwatch and i didn't have it on PS4 yet

i'd also like to say, i think overwatch, for the original PS4 was one of the best christmas gifts i ever got, it was such a magical time playing that game back as a 14 year old, it was one of the most fun experience's i had ever had with a shooter at the time, and i still regard that as a very special time. so yes, i do recommend paladins, for keeping me held over until i could play a better game 6 years ago when i was 14
