Almost as good as heroin

I do not like this game

A very fun game that I would definitely recommend to anyone who liked Risk of Rain 2, but I must warn you it is harder than 2.

Not as good as Dark Souls 2 tbh

It has a lot of ideas but none of them are executed well in the slightest, It has a lot of issues with balance right now, especially the "Immortals" you can transform into. The combat is decent but things like exhaustion make fighting more than one person impossible since you can only block 3 attacks before you become exhausted and defenseless, but that isn't the only issue with blocking as every character has an unblockable move making block even less useful. There is a "parry" if you block at the right time but all it does is reduce chip damage and only slightly stuns the enemy, but the stun is so short it doesn't even matter and doesn't even prevent exhaustion and would easily be removed with little to no downside.
The "immortals" are all pretty atrociously balanced as they can pretty much entirely interrupt the flow of battle with spam-able abilities that either make them hard to kill or they kill you in one hit. They are poorly implemented too since you don't get them from doing anything meaningful in-game, you just start with them; also 90% of the play of the games will be of immortals killing 5 or more people just to show how unbalanced they are.
There's also the perk system which is just broken with some of the things that you can get that can make combat trivial, also you don't get them till you account level is 10 so before that you are at a distinct disadvantage to anyone else who's above level 10. The hit registration is also just really bad, 65% of your attacks will land while others will just phase right through your opponent and it gets very frustrating with how common it is.

It's fun, but god does it spite you at every opportunity it gets just because you're playing it

It's a skill issue if you cannot get Prepare to Die Edition

It's alright

This was a very enjoyable experience all the way through and the dlc is also just as excellent adding a cherry on top to this already amazing game.

An Amazing recreation of Half-Life 1, Well worth the price and a fantastic experience all the way through.
