Great game with many great (QoL) mods

It came out of nowhere, excellent game! It has ripped most of its core gameplay from Factorio, but who cares when it's this good event in early stages.

One of the best single player games I've ever played! Can't recommend more highly. There are of course some areas where the game could be better, among them - the end - however it has an amazing atmosphere and I really enjoyed playing it through.

Simply the best building game ever.

I'm sorry to say this game is one of the most dissapointing game I've ever bought. I was really looking forward for this game for years, when we finally got to play it, man.... terrible! The screenshots we saw from the game years ago with great diversity of creatures and landscape is not close to what you see ingame.

I realle tried liking "No Man's Sky" thinking the next planet may be more exciting and diverse, but no... It's the same over and over, same buildings, same grind fest, same space stations, terrible space combat... I can go on...

As always, Civilization is a great strategy game. Don't forget your real life!

I simply love FM, this year's version is not an exception.

After reading the flood of bad reviews about this game after launch I decided to wait to buy it until the most breaking bugs had been fixed. Now, nearly one year after launch, I couldn't wait any longer- I went for it, bought the game for full price and started playing.

20 minutes into the prologue I experienced the first bug, after winning a battle I was just thrown out of the campaign to the main menu screen. I thought, well, okay, I can do the battle again. This time the bug didn't trigger and I advanced in the prologue. Now, sometime later I experienced a second bug, this time in battle, some soldiers freezed, didn't want to get out of the transport ship. After playing around 10 hours I have experienced more bugs than I ever have in any other game with the first bug happening several times. And remember, this is 11 (!!) months after release! I can understand the frustration from players buying this game on release date, it must have been an unbearable game!

I think the game is playable if you have the stomach for ignoring some annoying bugs, but I would never have bought this game at full price again! This game should have been categorized as a "work in progress" with price reduced profoundly.

I loved Rome: Total War. Rome II not so much.
