Phenomenal, FromSoftwares best work yet. They take upon every game they have ever released and take the absolute peak aspects from each one, and combine it into what is undoubtedly the best first playthrough of any game ever.

Pros: Quite literally everything. It takes all of the structure of the souls games linear non linear design and completely flips the script with an open world platform. This allows new players who get stuck to be able to progress much easier compared to the previous games. Being able to go wherever you want whenever you want is definitely overwhelming as a completionist, however for a new player it is perfect, if you get stuck, just leave and go somewhere else.

Cons: It is the best first play through I've ever had, for sure, however the sheer length and content of the game makes it difficult to replay it. This is a personal gripe however so if you enjoy games with lots of stuff to do that you can re do, this game is perfect.
