One of the best games I've ever played and I don't know why I waited so long to play it, I'd recommend downloading the 4k texture mod + reshade, makes the game look a lot better too.

My favourite shooter, played it for years and years. But right now it's unplayable and has been for years. Riddled with bots on every server that votekick you, play deafening hate speech audios down VOIP and spam chat with slurs and bigotry. Something needs to be done. #FixTF2

Great game, really enjoying it so far. Amazing graphics, some of the best voice-acting I've ever hear, combat is really enjoyable and keeps getting better. Love the metroidvania style.

It basically just gives you a bunch of new enemies to fight, there's not really any benefits to this. It doesn't improve the base game at all and is a bit of a disappointment. Whereas something like Biotech and Idealogy allowed for massive game-changing features for colonies, this doesn't do that. This fits really only specific playstyle and I can actually see myself disabling it for my next colony.

The other expansions are all far better and impact the game massively, you should get these before considering this.

I wish this expansion had been quite literally anything else.

Not a remaster, re-release is the better term.

The only reason you would buy this game for $40 instead of the original games for $2 is for the online multiplayer which barely works. Servers crash constantly, there were only 3 servers when I played all of which were either filled or crashing. Matches last 2 minutes.

The two new heroes are okay, Ventresses animations are completely broken. The new hero assault maps don't fit into the gamemode at all and nobody cares about them.

Don't buy.

It's the quarterly hyped up co-op game that everyone lies to themselves and says it's the best thing ever before inevitably moving on to the next one a few months later.

This game is unfinished, buggy with terrible performance. The gunplay is boring, the missions got repetitive before I'd even finished my first one. The servers are ♥♥♥♥.

It's basically Fate of Iberia dlc but in Persia instead, even has the exact same "struggle" system just renamed to an Intermezzo. If you enjoyed fate of iberia you'll enjoy this, otherwise skip. Opens up some more religions and cultures for alternative history which is nice.

Guess it's time I give New World a go again.

I tried playing this game a few years ago, didn't enjoy it much. The missions were great but everything between them wasn't fun. Game was buggy, had poor performance. Skills and levelling didn't interest me at all. Gear was boring.

Just started a new game with the launch of 2.0 and the game has changed massively. All my issues with it have been fixed. I'm currently a ninja, dashing, air-dancing and using slow-mo to cut my way through enemies. I'm excited when I level up to see what skills I can grab next.

Really recommend, greatly enjoying it.

Feels like a massive step back and like they learnt nothing from the success of Payday 2.

- Better movement, better feeling combat.
- Being able to stealth whilst in casing mode is interesting and makes sense for a lot of the heists.
- Not needing to restart the moment you get spotted in stealth, able to be escorted out or just cuffed to be saved by another teammate without resorting to loud.
- Better interaction with the world, you can close doors, can open/close vents, window blinds etc.
- Music is as good as ever.
- Improved graphics.

- No VOIP?? In a teamwork based game? What were they thinking? I met so many cool people with VOIP in payday 2 and we became friends and kept playing the game together which brings me onto my next point..
- After a heist, you're sent straight back to the main menu. No option to keep playing with the same people.
- Not possible to communicate whilst in the lobby, can't discuss at all how you want to do a certain heist beforehand.
- Basically none of the lobby features from Payday 2, no map, no assets, no ability to communicate.
- Online only, only been a few days since release and already been it's causing problems.
- Matchmaking takes far too long and there's no Quickplay option for "I don't care what I play just put me in a heist". Have to choose a specific heist and a specific difficulty within that heist. Game has just released and during off-peak hours already having to wait upwards of 5+ minutes to find a lobby. What was wrong with just a server browser?
- Very few amount of heists, don't seem to randomise as much as Payday 2's did to make it interesting each time either. Restarting a mission keeps the same seed too.

- Weapon customisation does nothing.
- Most weapons feel extremely weak.
- Melee is useless, no damage or even stuns enemies. Only thing I found semi-useful is for hitting hostages to get them on the ground faster.
- Having to buy assets before the heist at the bottom of the in-game shop and not just from the lobby like before?
- Entire skill system relies on having 3 buffs active, these buffs are just 10% stat increases. It's boring.
- Skill system is boring, no interesting or niche builds really possible. No dodge, sentries, melee, akimbo. Even the skills themselves are dull compared to Payday 2, where's "GET THE ♥♥♥♥ UP!"
- Can't unready in a lobby to change your loadout
- Having to wait 5 minutes if someone goes afk or forgets to ready up in Lobby.
- Can't jump in van after heist is completed? Weird feature to remove.
