CS:GO Review
Final Rating
70/100
Yes, I would recommend buying this game.

Summary
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a game that I absolutely fell in love with. I would recommend it to anybody that likes first-person-shooters. It was developed and published by Valve, one of, if not, the top computer gaming company/companies. It is constantly being updated and I've logged over 1,600 hours into the game happily.

Price
I got CS:GO for free from my brother, though I shortly payed him back by buying Rocket League. Most companies would charge $60 or so for a game of this caliber. I think it is 100% worth the price they are asking.
8/10

Graphics
The graphics aren't as good as other games made by Valve (especially Dota 2), but they are pretty nice. They could definitely make the graphics better for this game, but they aren't anything you'll be complaining about.
8/10

System Strain
I haven't met a lot of people that can't run this and I, personally, get 100+ fps constantly. Even with outdated gaming laptops, you can play this game with decent frames. It won't strain your system terribly much.
9/10

Content
There is a good haul of content in this game as far as default props go and everything you'll see on official servers is already in the game. But, the game is open to community content and you'll see that if you visit a community server. There are also constant updates adding more content (even though you usually pay for it).
7/10

Customizability
You can customize pretty much everything that you would want to. You can get custom skins (that you pay for), a custom hud, and even get into custom map creating. They don't necessarily encourage modding, though.
7/10

Community
The community that is based around CS:GO can be described as toxic, but it is also quite great. You have to find the right people. But, overall, starting out and playing solo can be difficult and toxic. It goes both ways.
4/10

Playing Difficulty
It is not difficult to pick up and play, especially if you have previous fps experience. You can learn pretty much everything pretty easily and they have competitive matchmaking to match you with people of your skill level.
9/10

Learning Difficulty
It is difficult to learn about the game. There are a lot of different things to learn to improve yourself (spray patterns, movement, etc.). But, the community definitely helps with it with maps, videos, and Steam guides.
3/10

Mastering Difficulty
There is a big professional industry surrounded around CS:GO now. But, making it anywhere near the pro scene is very difficult. It is a terribly difficult game to master. It is very fun to play competitively, though.
5/10

Playability
This is the most playable game I've ever played. I already mentioned my hours and I'm still not bored of the game, yet. You can play this game for years and still love it. I have.

Yes, I would recommend buying this game.

Summary
Garry's Mod is a pretty good game in my opinion. I would recommend it to any friend that likes community-based games. It is published by Valve, the same people behind many other great game series and, maybe most notably, Steam. It is a good game for it's time and still holds up today. I've logged over 200 hours in it and enjoyed them all.

Price
I bought Garry's Mod for $10.00 USD, it's normal price. Most developers would ask for $15 or more for a game like this. When it all plays out, I'd say this game is at a good price and could only get better by being available for less or free.
9/10

Graphics
The graphics are not the best, but are not terribly awful for it's time. Considering most graphics you'll see are not default, it's really not a big concern, though. But, I definitely wouldn't mind seeing the defaults remastered (I'd even pay for it).
4/10

System Strain
As far as I'm concerned, the game doesn't take a lot to run. It's requirements are decently low and should be able to run on most computers, gaming or otherwise. With most big servers, though, it might be nice to have a good PC.
8/10

Content
There isn't a lot of content and most of the content used on servers is made by the community. The creators didn't even bother with making content. Instead, they took it from the game that it was made from, Half-Life 2.
2/10

Customizability
This game is almost entirely customizability, from the graphics to the gamemodes. It not only has a good amount of built-in options, but it is completely open to modding and the Steam Workshop, which is why the content and graphics are so bad.
10/10

Community
The community based around the game is quite nice. I wouldn't consider it toxic, but more creative. Almost everything in the game is made by the players, so the community has to be a bit creative. The community has also made entire games.
9/10

Playing Difficulty
It is not difficult to play. Anything that you will fight or and challenge that you will have to face, will be made by you. You can edit the health of your enemies and anything of that sort. It is very customizable as far as difficulty goes.
7/10

Learning Difficulty
It is not difficult to pick up. It might take a little to get used to controls, but that's why we play PC, right? You can pick up this game and pretty much do whatever you want. It might take a few hours to get used to tool settings, though.
6/10

Mastering Difficulty
To master this game, I would say you would have to put in quite a few hours, not just playing, but creating for the game. Making items, models, and scripts is a big part of this game. You don't have to do it, but it is definitely a masterful thing.
3/10

Playability
I have put in over 200 hours, which says something about it's playability. You could definitely find different gamemodes you like and play this game for months. It's like a seperate game marketplace. You could easily play over a hundred hours.
10/10

I've played Grand Theft Auto V for 300+ hours. Which is enough time to beat the game multiple times and enjoy a couple hundred hours of multiplayer. If you want a good review, this might be it.

The game is a good addition to the series. It is a great display of the newest generation of graphics and gameplay. Here is my breakdown:

Price
I pre-ordered this game for $60.00 USD. I think it is worth that price considering how much it has to offer. I haven't seen a person play this game for less than 100 hours before moving on. And it's a game you can come back to in a couple months. It definitely isn't cheap, but it was one of the biggest game releases of the year, taking thousands of people to make. The price is to be expected with a game this big and this long awaited.

Difficulty
The game comes with many different options to make it as enjoyable as you want it to be. It is quite customizable. Online, it can be a bit challenging. You face high-pressure pvp situations at times and at others you might play with hackers. The heists are also quite hard at times. It was a good time all the way through, and continues to be. The only real difficulty might be running the game with lower-end computers.

Overview and Rating
The game is great. I would say it is worth the price for, not only the campaign, but also (if not mainly) the multiplayer experience. It is great to play with friends. I would recommend it to anybody that likes the older GTA's or any games of the sort. It has also had quite a few DLC updates after it's release, which is great.

I would give the game a 9.1/10. Here are pro's and con's:

Pro's
  • Fun
  • Great multiplayer
  • Great graphics
  • Lots of content
Con's
  • High price
  • Rampid hackers
  • May be hard to run

All credits go to Rockstar. Thank you.

I've played the game for 5 hours. Which is enough time to beat the game 3+ times over. If you want a good review, this might be it.

This game is pretty good. It's simple, fun, and interesting. It's not too hard, but not too easy. And it's constantly being updated. They have already updated twice and the game has only been out for 3 days. Here is my breakdown:

Price
I got this game, on sale, for $1.79 USD. It is usually $2.00 USD. I believe it is most definitely worth that price.
I don't like spending a lot of money on video games. Most great games are cheap. This game falls into that category.
It is nice for the price and considering the game is being updated regularly, it is not a bad buy.

Difficulty
The game is difficult in general, but easy to understand. There are a lot of things making the game difficult. Getting hacked, tracked, and kidnapped are all very possible and quite frequent. But, there are ways to avoid all of them (not so much the hacking, it's quite inevitable). There are most definitely ways to play the game that are better than others. It being a horror game, it will be easier to beat if you have good awareness. I will link guides for people that want to play at the bottom of this guide.

Overview and Rating
The game is good, overall. It is definitely worth the price and a good game to play if you like Indie, Horror, Puzzle, or Deep Web games. It is cheap, fun, and easy. The developers are still working on making it better for it's players and they listen to the fans. If you want something changed, you can ask them and they will kindly help.

I would give the game an 8.4/10. Here are pro's and con's:

Pro's
  • Good Pricing
  • Fun
  • Scary
  • Easy-to-learn
  • Nice, simple graphics
  • Nicely coded
  • Crashes are rare

Con's
  • Not for the easily scared
  • Counter-hacking games can be difficult
