It’s been a while since I've been pleasantly surprised by a game, almost a year in fact.

I was browsing the steam store when this game caught my eye, flash sale, only $1.64.
Browsing through the store listing I became more and more infatuated with the game, they had a demo so I gave it a try.

That was enough for me to make a decision.

I never even got through the full demo, it was too good, I needed the full game immediately.

After I reached the main menu screen, my ears started to shake, then my hands and finally my whole body.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ orgasmic.

I spent hours having the game open listening to that one track on loop, it awakened my third eye, I could see beyond the horizon, beyond the ice wall.

I loved it so much I also ended up buying the entire soundtrack.


Gunpoint is a solid 2D puzzle game with good level design, witty writing and toe clenchingly good music.
