I prefer to the older ruleset to the Blood Bowl 2020 ruleset. But if you want to play with the current ruleset this is probably the best option.
There are still improvements to be made, but for now it's very playable and I expect each season to add and improve the game more, as that is what happened with both BB1 and BB2.

I have no idea if the single player campaigns are any good as I only play against human coaches on the ladder.
