Game is broken…

This game is really great if you
- love to grind items
- learn new tactics and weapons
- have some friends but don't worry, there are a lot of people online and you can just jump in their game and hunt together
- are willing to read and watch guides to improve (late game)

The game starts with basic tutorials and easy monsters. First you select your starting weapon, I recommend that you try out all weapons at the training yard. All weapons have special combos, most of them are easy to learn but hard to master.
You should take the whole story of the game as an tutorial, the real game starts after you beat the story. Don't think too much about upgrading your gear, just have fun.

MHW is playable with controller and m/kb. I like to play these kind of games with a controller but it's totally playable with m/kb. If you want to play with a ranged weapon then m/kb is probably your best friend.

If you get killed by an monster, don't worry. It happens to all of us. Think about what killed you and how you could have avoided it.
You will have to learn the monster attacks, sometimes it is better to just don't attack and try to avoid all attacks for 10-15min.

MHW has weekly events. They rotate and give special rewards like upgrade materials, weapons and armor.

Trash since "NEXT GEN" Update.
Lazy Ultra-Wide Patch and new bugs -> not recommended

+ graphics are ok, runs in 4k, 60 fps on a GTX980TI
+ physics are nice and feel realistic
+ Ai is good, not perfect
+ free, buy what you want, dodge what you don't want
+ GT3 cars
+ updates
+ nice community
+ lots of tracks and cars
(+) free spotter app, found in the games forum

- multiplayer is kinda dead
- no full control during pitting and rolling starts, not like iRacing
- no weather change, no rain, no night races
- no real flag system

overall a better sim/race game than Assetto and PCARS

Game runs like ♥♥♥♥, DONT F. BUY IT.
