Early Access Review
As of now, after just a little more than an hour played, and speaking as a MASSIVE DJMax fan, I can say I'm extremely happy that our old songs are back. Gameplay-wise, I feel like I did when I started playing DJMax Technika 1 for the first time. I was not used to the layout, the notes, the way it's played, but I'm getting used to it slowly. The first few times I tried Extreme difficulty songs, I failed every one of them. I missed every drag note, panicked and missed strings of normal notes and just failed everything. Now, just 1.3hours of gametime later, I can confidently clear most extreme songs like Dream of Winds, I'm Alive, Don't Die, U.A.D.

My only advice to new players that are having trouble is (I'm only saying this from what I feel and noticed while playing),
practice Extreme on easier songs first (I think I used Colours of Sorrow and Clear Blue Sky) to get used to the drag notes. They are annoying. As a DJMax player that's my biggest hurdle. One thing I noticed while practicing is that the drag notes have "easier judgement" than on mobile games like DJMax Ray. Just treat each drag note as hold keys that you have to press right after each other and hold on till the next note. The window for you to switch keys is very forgiving, it's just easy to mess up because we're not used to it.

After you get a hang of those, move on to more difficult songs, and when you clear them, you'll feel amazing, trust me.

The first time I cleared Dream of Winds with just 1 break, I felt so relieved because I thought I'd never learn to play those damn drag keys.

The song list is small, but like Technika Q and DJMax Respect, I can only it getting bigger and bigger.

I have high hopes for this game and its future. It's not DJMax amazing, but it's still amazing!
