Almighty: Killed Our Devs
This game is such a rip-off that it belongs on the Epic store; not here. It's barely a proof of concept, not a "game" at all. Videos are completely misleading and contain footage and cut-scenes that simply do not exist in this shell of an offering. Criminally mislabeled as "early access", development for this game ended long ago.
Now it remains as a cautious reminder of what "early access" means to some devs/publishers: literally just an empty proof of concept to net some quick cash before being buried completely.
So, so bad. Just terrible. Shame on this and those who put it here.

Is a snooze. I refunded it at only $16. There's nothing to do and everything looks the same.
I'm bored just thinking about it.

A fun and flavorful roguelike with an addictive gameplay loop and good devs. Easy to recommend this one.

It's so stupid that you cannot climb in Tribes of Midgard. You have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jump button but it only goes down and then you're just stuck there. You know what solution is when you google this problem? Build a ramp. Like that's a viable option, build a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ramp. ♥♥♥♥ dude, build a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ climb button ffs.

The videos and screenshots are misleading, they make the game's graphics seem "pretty good" right? Once you play it reality sets in, they are total hot garbage. Terrible-looking Unity placeholders with pixels the size of your mouse buttons. Maxed out video settings has this heap looking like it was sh@t right out of 2004.

That's when Unity was made, and it still shows. Unity was created by some eurowanks that wanted to "democratize game development" making it available to everyone; not just artists, writers, and those that learned how to code. If only we were able to shove right back down their throats all the crap that we've swallowed since. I doubt they intended for their trash engine, fit only as a toy for younger students of game design, to become the industry standard for how to produce a game for sale without having to spend the budget on real game development.

The industry just keeps getting worse and Unity is the cancer within it. I'm so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sick of Unity, and these "indie" devs "just trying to get their game out there". The type of "early access" Unity games filled with garbage graphics, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ re-skinned assets, and bugs that we now pay to be beta testers of. The crap that they used to *pay you* to play back when gamers weren't the epitome of desperation. I'm sorry that this game is the one to catch this rant, it really doesn't deserve it since there are soooo many far worse/better examples of Unity causing the decline of the gaming industry.
For every one person that uses Unity correctly, there are at least a dozen others producing pure crap for profit's sake. I don't believe that's that happened here but it still suffers from the decline. In the same way that Steam has a separate section for games made with GameMaker2000, a separate section is needed for Unity games. They should not be paraded in front of you along-side AAA games due to the deceptive nature and overall lack of quality compared to games made with a real engine by actual studios.

I'm trying to reach you. I'm here to say to you, my fellow gamers: It is sad when this is what passes for a "good game" these days. We let this happen, and we should all feel bad. Stop paying money for garbage. Make developers use real engines and produce something better than they have in the last 20 years, or at least something original. Make the industry take steps forward again in technology instead of continually side-stepping it. I know it's hard when you "just want something to do" but is this really what you want? Another couple decades of Unity and further decline of the industry? Do you want nothing but half-finished, crowd-funded, Unity-asset displays for wanna-be developers on how to maximize cash flow while reducing budgets to their absolute minimal? Because that's where we're headed people.

Note to early access buyers:
This game is in "Beta" and as is common, your characters, levels, stash, and all loot will be fully wiped by the time of release. This is confirmed by the developer on their website forum. So you're currently paying to be a tester of this game, and show support of its early development. Not to retain any progress or get a "head start".

That being said, it's already an enjoyable game with tons of potential. Want to hear about it? Read someone else's review.

Still giving the thumbs up and recommending it **as a single player game** because multiplayer/CO-OP mode IS still game-breakingly UNPLAYABLE, and probably always will be.
However as a single-player space exploration game it really is fantastic... except for a few things. The building aspect of it feels rather tacked-on, like it was an afterthought. And it's grindy but maybe not in the way you'd like. Sure you don't mind mining cobalt for countless hours, but how do you feel about just standing in the docking-bay of a space station for untold hours just watching ships land? Because that's how you get new ships; the only way. No you do not get to build one or visit a shipyard - those don't exist. You just stand watching and waiting for hours and hours as one-by-one the procedurally generated ships land and the captain gets out, whom you can then buy from IF it rolled decent stats. And if you're looking for an exotic ship be ready to wait and I mean WAIT. As in, you can stand for 8 hours a day for 3 days before seeing a single one.
Those things aside, it's still a beautiful and well-written, immersive space adventure that will leave you wanting for more. It's well worth the price as long as you are not expecting a co-op game.

Early Access Review
Review:
This early access game is so good you can almost forget it's a Unity one. Because of the bugs however it feels too soon to come out of early access. Gameplay wise (though not as pretty) it has more to offer than Conan Exiles. Building/rebuilding and flying ships, setting up bases and space stations, it's all so satisfying. This one actually has some quests (though often need to be advanced manually), practically everything is a dungeon with alien loot containers holding components, rare resources and even epic weapons. When you're done exploring and conquering your home world and system there's a whole galaxy to explore, additional scenarios and amazing steam workshop content. Many bugs but still there's so much to do it's good to go for 500 hours of gameplay... just make sure to backup your save files frequently. Space battles are epic! You can win, just run when your shields are low and then come back for another pass (don't fly without shields). Not your thing? No problem, build a greenhouse and farm sprouts if you want. The drill could be the strongest weapon in the game, tunnel your way there and then blast your way in with explosives. Guerrilla warfare those cheap asses. Something should probably be done about craft getting stuck on trees and such but then we've cheesed this in our favor before as well.

To the devs:
Great job! We really enjoy your game! If we may, here's some things we'd like to have:

-Melee weapons for players, like that talon spear. Maybe even a pistol-whip button for melee between reloads.
-An upgrade bay, similar to repair bay but upgrades blocks instead, like hardened->combat steel.
-Animal husbandry, taming, raise animals for food or as pets.
-The factions should be fighting each other in space and ♥♥♥♥. It can feel kinda empty, it is space... but there should be more populated areas.
-Why no pirate missions? We definitely need missions from the pirate faction.
-Ship recall, free short-range port back to ship.
-Solar panels for ships.
-Offline Defense should work for pve too.
-Epic armor mods.
-Thanks for reading!

What are all these reviewer's on? Music is annoying, graphics are drab, gameplay is boring and very repetitive. Straight run and gun. Not recommended, though it doesn't matter. this will get buried under the 'overwhelmingly positive" reviews.
