Resident Evil 3 is a great remaster, but it is a short game similar to Resident Evil 2. Resident Evil 2 was short, but many people considered it longer in that it had two similar campaigns, but they were still the same game somewhat. I will admit, this is the main gripe with RE3 over RE2.

Now then, on the actual review side, it is still a highly polished remastered, but they did cut some stuff out of the game such as the old clock tower. It has been a very very very long time since I have played the original RE3, but it is still similar to the original. The actual gameplay is excellent. Similar to RE2 in the combat, but new monsters and a new mechanic, the dodge! It is still taking me a while to master, but nice to have the extra agility in a RE game. The story is the same cheesy RE story, but the characters are decent, and voice acting is similar to the other RE games.

Overall, I enjoyed it, and some might not think it is worth 60 dollars, but with increasing costs of game development, I understand developers. I also do not like to mindless side mission items and checkpoints to make a game longer/add filler. I still enjoyed my time with the game and feel I got my money's worth and there are unlockable items for a replay later.

I have played through both characters, and one of the second runs (the game is basically four games in one). I will admit, I was thoroughly surprised at how good this remake was. The game is true to the original while being a whole new game altogether. The puzzles are top-notch, the survival horror gameplay is excellent, and the graphics are incredible. The story is the weakest link, but we all know these are just cheesy Resident Evil stories. Overall, I highly recommend if you are a fan of the Resident Evil series.

DOOM Eternal is a pretty intense game for an FPS. It is similar DOOM 2016 but with more thinking and strategies during your battle. You are constantly juggling resource management of your weapons/ammo while thinking of which enemies to kill and take out first. The battles are chaotic and intense as always; and with this added strategy focused combat, it is even more intense. The game length is perfect IMO which, if you speed through you can finish in 12-15 hours, but I took my time unlocking everything and replaying some levels to collect those extra lives and finished in about 19-20 hours. They put a lot more emphasis on the story too and reading the text was well worth it since you can see more of this universe and how the story has come along. Well worth it and great story design for a DOOM game. It is a breath of fresh air since most games are 50-100 hour escapades of repetitive and lackluster content. Overall, I highly recommend DOOM Eternal if you are a fan of DOOM 2016 and want a great single-player campaign to finish.

This game is an awesome and surprisingly addictive little game. I originally bought this game and started to play on a whim because I have heard about it, but after playing the game for a few hours, I fell in love with it. The PC version is more refined and precise than the mobile version. Also, you get all of the content that is locked on the mobile version. The graphics overhaul is a nice extra touch too, although not AAA graphics, still a nice upgrade. The game also provides many challenges with the different strains of viruses, bacteria, and other ways to annihilate the human race. If you like a strategy game with a clean interface, different concepts of takeovers, and just a fun annihilation game in general, check out Plague Inc. Evolved.

Fallout Shelter is a cool little MMO/Simulation game in the Fallout universe. Unlike the main games, there is no single protagonist since you are the Overseer in a vault. When this game first released on the phone back in the day, it was awesome for the first few hours, but once everything was maxed out there was not much left to do. Now, with the new updates, it is like a little MMO too with main quest lines, dailies, weeklies, more armor and weapons to make, theme workshops, and you can even customize your dwellers. The development team did a great job revamping this game and making it a more robust and added a slew of content. I highly recommend if you just want to dabble in a fun little game on PC here and there.
