Graphics: The graphics are okay, they seem to be pretty standard as of 2022.
Story: Same esoteric garbage FS has been putting out since it's beginning days. Only this time I don't care for it.
Bugs: Minimal, nothing groundbreaking that I have experienced.
Performance: Below average, consistently BELOW 60 FPS even on low graphics.
Gameplay: Below average, basically the same mechanics used in Dark Souls are here in Elden RIng with the exception of some near pointless, uninteresting, new combat mechanics like, horse combat, guard counter, and jump attacks.
Difficulty: Laughable

FromSoftware's release of Elden Ring leaves me incredibly disappointed. Let me start by saying that I have been looking forward to this game even before the trailer was released. This game offers little to no improvisation and still uses decade old mechanics that beyond dated. The map is extremely uninteresting and empty. It is basically the same bandit camps copy pasted around the map with reskinned enemies. The "dungeons" are extremely lackluster and again copy pasted around the map. This applies to the caves as well. It feels as if there is no soul or personality to the world whatsoever. The world is basically just littered with plenty of uninspired and boring cake-walks of bosses. For example I've come across a total of 3 Tree Sentinels. Each and every fight of which was boring and nothing new except a niche gimmick was included, that being one Tree Sentinel on fire and the other having to fight two Tree Sentinels at the same time. The boss design is laughably lazy, especially in the later game, where bosses can one-shot you no matter what level vitality or armor you are wearing. Even then, with the one-shot bosses all the other bosses are extremely easy. No boss remotely feels hard to beat, you just level and come back once more as well as memorize their easy attack patterns. I feel as if there is no motive to even doing anything in this game anyway. Killing optional bosses rewards you with virtually nothing, except a minuscule amount of runes and some irrelevant summon. There is basically no direction in the game and you spend most of your time running on your horse in a bland, tasteless world. On another matter, this game heavily pushed the cooperative side of the game in which players can explore the open world together. FS still uses their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ decade old summoning system with no changes whatsoever. Even when you summon, you cannot explore open areas. I'm 99% sure that most of this games budget went into marketing and advertising. The point is probably to reel in more players and broaden their player base for a game that is not what is advertised as. By far, I would consider this as FS's worst release or as bad as DS2: Scholar of the First Sin. The professional reviews of this game are clouded by fangirling each and every one of FS's releases. To call this game a 10/10 is a reach even optimistically looking at it. This game is only backed by mindless hype. Go play DS3 or Bloodborne if you are looking for a good FS game. Don't come to Elden Ring looking for a fun open world experience. Elden Ring is an over hyped, overrated, uninspired, uninteresting horse walking simulator. Save your 60$ dollars.

Amazing game, I'm currently on Journey 3 on PS4. I recommend playing the Dark Souls 1 first because Dark Souls 1 and 3 are tied in lore.
