Very fun and proper expansion! New weapons, new enemies, and new, unique levels. Doesn't just feel like a rehash.

Story about how far a man will go for a little strange. A masterpiece.

It's basically Vampire Survivor FPS. You have the option to have auto shooting enable, as that's a key feature of the genre, but I rather like that they included the option to manually shoot as well. The gunplay is fun, and you get a nice array of abilities and weapons to play along with. Like Vampire Survivors, you also get a good cast of characters to choose from, as well as options to upgrade your stats before starting the next round. The game has similar minibosses that drop chests, but also more traditional boss fights. I think if you enjoy boomer shooters and vampire survivors, you'll feel right at home with this game. Great for short bursts of gameplay as well as longplays as well. Just a great addition to this unique genre.

Another great Robocop game from Teyon. While this game does take place in a single OmniCorp tower, don't let that fool you. There's a surprising amount to see and discover. Like the first game, you have quite a bit of linear levels broken up by open areas where you can do side quests and interact with other characters. The gunplay is still awesome, and the new additions like takedowns and the Cyro gun are welcome additions. The storyline is once again very good, and would have made for a fine live action movie. I played on Extreme Mode and felt like I had a reasonable challenge all though out the game. Game does have some optimization issues, mainly slowing down when loading a new area. It's the only issue that I felt really had a negative impact on the game, as it caused a crash once or twice. Otherwise, once everything loaded, it ran just fine.

Overall, this is a fine addition to the RoboCop series and is a must buy for any fan of the previous game.

Kind of clunky, but a great overall unique experience. First, we really don't have enough Orc/Goblin led protagonists. This game will scratch the itch for anyone who feels the same. Gameplay is solid, plays like a poor man's KOTOR, but it still has enough depth to make it worth paying attention to your stats. Even if I spammed most of my battles. Storyline is the real draw here. It's about Orcs on the brink of extinction who decide to kill the human emperor to hopefully cause enough chaos and buy their species some time. The humans want to team up with Dwarves and Elves to complete the Orc genocide. Then you have Styx, the only intelligent goblin. He has stealth moves that really help to whittle down the amount of enemies you fight at once. In addition to breaking up the monotamy of the battle system. Game gives you multiple choices through out the story to decide what happens to certain characters and how the ending plays out. It's not quite Mass Effect levels deep, but it's solid. On top of it all, you get a sweeping soundtrack that is just lovely. Overall, this is a must play for anyone fantasy RPG nerds who are looking for something a little different.

Bought this game on a winter sale ($20 for the deluxe edition) and got hooked on it quite a bit. First, know that my experience is entirely don from the perspective of someone playing this completely solo. I haven't even tried co-op, or attempted to use matchmaking.

Overall opinion, it's a solid game, that now has offline capabilities, and that makes it worth whatever price you deem worthwhile. Lots to enjoy.

What I loved:
- Hooked on the characters and story
- Combat is smooth and varied
- Some of the best open world traversal ever (imo)
- Lots of additional stuff to find, do, and unlock
- Metropolis portrayed as this wartorn city is quite something to see
- Voice acting is top notch, and is the final Kevin Conroy role as Batman.
- All characters feel different enough to keep the game feeling fresh.
- Battlepass can be had for free if save all the credits earned as the "free reward."

What I disliked:
- Ending feels a bit flat and the post-campaign gameplay loop is way too repetitive in comparison to prior games
- Too many weapons, and not enough options to swap out aesthetics of one gun for the stats of another. I hate loving the look of one weapon, but it's stats are butt compared to everything else.
- Certain things, like the riddler trophies seem to be softlocked out of the game due to an update, and we might not get anything else
- Production value takes a huge hit in post-game content, understandable, but you go from full CGI cutscenes to storyboard animatic style cutscenes.
- No PvP whatsoever. Could have been chaotic fun to have 8-16 player deathmatches just running around the city.

The Worse
- The live service stuff feels very forced by WB and it shows. All the coolest stuff can be unlocked for free (weapons/characters) and all that's left are skins and other cosmetic stuff that are hit and miss. Emotes are out of place, and feel useless, and they went overboard on stuff like banners and gun decals that you can barely see. It makes the battlepass feel like a slog. Don't get me wrong, there's cool stuff, but you get the feeling that maybe they should have made some uber OP weapons or something with more unique effects. Really feel like they should have just stuck to the traditional DLC system they already had in games like Arkham City and Knight.

Overall, yeah, I think the game has flaws, but nothing game breaking, but the the meat and potatoes of the game are quite fun. At the time of writing this review, I have 150+ hours into the game, so yeah, I enjoy it quite a bit.

I don't really have anything to add about the "politics" of the game. Nothing screamed offensive to me personally.

I'm only halfway done, and already it feels like my 2024 game of the year. First, the visuals and character design are outstanding. It's feels very original and unlike anything I've personally seen. Kudos for the sound design. Not only a great soundtrack, but each thwack, boom, shot, and other noises just feels so good. Good variety of weapons, great use of kicking too. Many games include a decent kick, but here, the kick is the star, but the loadout offered feels good and progresses through out the game. Keeping things fresh. You can even throw guns at enemies to stun them when you're all out of ammo. Can't think of many games that'll let you do that.

Another unsung hero is the amount of damage you can do. It's not quite "break walls" down like Red Faction, but the game offers plenty of destructible furniture. You're gonna want to sometimes just stop and appreciate the destruction and havoc you create. The way a broken chair piece lies on a enemies body just so.

Story is very fun, and humorous. They built a really interesting would to enjoy, and I do feel like it could be explored further via spin-offs and potential sequels. I'd love to see an open world game in Crime City personally. I can only imagine a solid 16 player deathmatch would be chaos.

Overall, the game slaps. The levels are designed to be enjoyed where you can get lost for hours doing them, trying to get all three stars for one level, but also in a way where you can play a level or two on the john via the steam deck and enjoy a short but sweet run. BTW, bear market is so far my favorite level. Lots of carnage and ways to unleash that carnage.

BUY THE GAME.

Perfect game for kids, but people who enjoy things like Goat Simulator may enjoy this. First, there's no real storyline. There are cutscenes and lots of things to do/collect, but if you're expecting another episode of Spongebob in videogame format, this ain't it. If you like goofing around and playing around with goofy physics systel in

Squirrel with a Gun is quite a fun game. Multiple guns to use, executions, lots of exploration, puzzles, 3D platforming, open world, boss fights, unique settings, unlockable costumes/skins (not monetized, just part of the game), and the devs already have a game plan for future content. I think the game is a blast to play. Took me less than 20 hours taking my time to complete, so it's not too long, nor too short either.

In short, it's awesome. Go buy it!

Pros: Good Gunplay - decent campaign challenge - graphic settings - bots for MP - secrets to discover in the levels

Cons: despite listed features, it's a pretty bare bones experience - campaign is short - MP maps are just repurposed levels and blend in with each other - obvious mobile game port - no real environmental interactions, you just shoot everything including walls and switches to open up other rooms/secrets

If you're looking for a quickie shooter to enjoy, it might be your cup of tea. Five bucks ain't too bad an asking price.

If this were the early 2010s and I played this on my phone, I'd probably be impressed,
