A++ exploration game!

A game made with passion, by people who love videogames and made for people who love videogames.

Solid story, voice acting, character progression, and side stories.

Unfortunately it is rare to see a game of this caliber not come out as a half-baked mess meant to grab every penny out of your pocket with no regard for quality.

This game deserves every award that comes its way and more!

Fantastic gameplay, brought back what made every other souls game special and made it 10x better.

This review is mostly about Halo Reach but some stuff also applies to the other Halo games:

Spectacular campaign story, very fun multiplayer gameplay, however in this current state I cannot recommend this game.

The linear unlock system using "season points", was something NOBODY asked for (if it ain't broke, don't fix it). The last thing we need in the gaming market is this oversaturated method of unlocking items. The old credit system was just fine, if a bit grindy. However, now, all the items you might want to unlock might be locked behind several other items you must go through first, instead of simply a level lock. You can no longer work/grind towards one particular item that you want, instead now you must unlock every item 343 tells you to unlock in a specific order regardless of what you want.

One of the biggest incentives to play campaign was taken away, which was receiving credits and unlocks based on your story progression. Don't get me wrong, the story is amazing and every character has their charm, but there's no denying some people only played the campaign for the rewards.

One other major issue is the HUGE input delay in co-op campaign. This is NOT due to the player's internet, but caused by the antiquated P2P system that this game utilizes. Any command short of moving your mouse to look around is delayed by a good 1-2 seconds, which makes a huge difference in this game.

I still have faith that 343 will look into these issues, but until then I wouldn't buy this just yet until maybe a 50% sale or more came along.

Very atmospheric, amazing gunplay, very few bugs (none gamebreaking). Huge variety of guns and even though there are only three maps, every compound is different and unique. Definitely more fun with friends, but don't be afraid to play solo. This game is extremely rewarding, especially the smaller your team is.

EDIT: Hunt 1896 update introduced way too many technical issues to be enjoyable anymore, too much stuttering and crashing. Not to mention the horrible new UI.

It's fun with friends. With a large group, play vanilla. With a small group or solo, play modded with increased gathering, unless you want to grind so much. Don't get it if you don't want to be restarting every week or so, because that's usually how often server wipes happen.

It has its problems, but a great game overall. Definitely not the first game to play if you want to play the other Souls games. Start with DS1 or 2 before this one.

The game is a great deal of fun, whether you just want to play casually or competitively.
