If you want to experience the classic RPG of PC games, then this game is awesome for you! I played this game straight just to finished and witnessed what the lore of Fallout 1 look like. I would say it's... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ & fascinating! The lore is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but the classic gameplay including the mechanics is fascinating.

You started as the selected vault dweller from vault 13. Given the task, from the cowardly vault overseer, to seek the water chip and restore it back to it's clean drinking state. Turns out the outside world is a bad place to ventute out after 100 years later from TACTICAL NUKE INCOMING bomb. Raiders everywhere, big scary HULK mutants, scorpions ("I got poison again"), and more bad guys coming straight from Mad Max. The ending btw, no spoilers here, is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. The fun never stops here.

Let's get to the gameplay. It is GLORIOUS! Something you won't ever played it again in this modern day of RPG like Fallout 3 and above. This is a turn-based strategy game, similar to playing classic Final Fantasy, Worms, Chess you get the idea. But that's not all. Weapons and items in this game is extremely interesting to me, but it requires Perception & Lucky to get the critical high-damaged shot. And ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the Alien Blaster is the GOAT in this game follow-up from the Minigun.

Beside the turn-based gameplay, the OPEN-WORLD MAP takes place in the WHOLE Southern California. Yeah, much bigger than in Boston or Washington DC. It will take you days or months to travel from one side of the map to the other (game time).

The NPC are interactable and I still do not know why they added in the "Ask me" button in the dialogue screen. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ if you ask me. Same as the clicking dialogue choices from Fallout 3 but it will affect to your karma status including the good or bad choices that the NPC will make after. And yes, karma system still exist in this game till Fallout NV (sorry Fallout 4).

In this game, you can be whatever you want. Good guy wanderer, silent assassin, the tank damage dealer, or a douchebag. That all depends to your karma status. Hell, I didn't even know you can wear and disguise as an enemy to infiltrate the enemy base, Yep, you can go in and boom or sneak your way in like a boss.

I give this a 4 thumbs up over 5! The lore is in this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but the gameplay, is fascinating
