Dangerous time waster. Extremely addictive gameplay makes it so that you can spend a whole day playing it without realizing. It has a seemingly endless amount of content, with more on the way in the form of free updates and dlc. Wether you want a quick, enjoyable experience or a new game to spend hundreds of hours on, Vampire Survivors IT.

Ah yes, Polybius, re-released under a new name seemingly as an attempt to avoid it's infamous legacy, it is now playable for a new generation, so they too can become a part of it's history.

Pros:
+Simple gameplay, textbook definition of mindless fun
+Cute, simplistic graphics
+Very short game, I beat it and got every achievement in only 20 minutes
+Every achievement has a letter, number, or relevant phrase as it's image, so it's good for decorating your profile
+As of 24/08/2024, the game is free to acquire, but even without this special offer the game is still incredibly cheap

Cons:
-VERY short game. As I said, I experienced everything you can in this game in 20 minutes so I'm not sure I would have gotten it if it wasn't free
-Slightly obnoxious music in the background, very short loop too.
-No depth in it's gameplay, not very replayable at all
-You might die by playing this game, as the legend goes.

Overall, it's an ok game. Worth checking it out while it's free, outside of this "sale" it might still be worth it if you're willing to waste a couple bucks on a 20 minute experience, or if you just wanted to play Polybius, but not something I would ever play again.

You can beat Beerus as Yamcha in this game. 10/10 Yamcha sweep baby

I really wish Steam could allow form neutral reviews. The issues discussed in my original review have either already been worked on (battlepass grind and fomo from the login event) or will be worked on by the end of the season (Matchmaking, balance changes and re-adding features from the beta)

One year later and this is what we got:
Matchmaking is horrible, Netcode is broken, FOMO is Extremely aggressive , Grinding is mindnumbing and unfun, and the monetization is as predatory as it gets. Even for a free-to-play game this is outrageous.

And that's just off the top of my head. Warner better fix this mess and fix it FAST, otherwise this game will die a second time.

Hasn't been updated in years, is laggy as ♥♥♥♥, is prone to crashing, lacks crucial industry standard features, requires hundreds of hours of experience and a honorary degree in computer science to make something decent with it and has also has been completely replaced with S2FM, but at least it's easier then Blender. 7/10

It's ♥♥♥♥. Nevermind my previous review, it's actually worse then ♥♥♥♥, the amount of infuriating ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in this game makes me lose my mind, It's ridiculous.

Fun people playgrounding game. surprisingly advanced mechanisms allow for some pretty cool contraptions, mostly killing ones.
