peak. played the hell out of racing transformed on the 360, looks like they finally made something able to top it. its definitely overpriced but if you've got the money to spend, its so worth it. also sincerely appreciate the S rank times for time trials actually being a challenge to get

Fun to control and graphically really nice, music be banging too. Lots of car animations help to make it feel super responsive. Genuinely impressive how many currencies there are and how many micro transactions are available tho, hard to tell if more time was put into that setup or the gameplay lmao. It's a fun time passer with friends though, especially for a 'free to play' game

absolute best boss fights in the series. definitely the least sonic-like sonic game, but it's an enjoyable experience. cyberspace is likely the weakest part of the game, mostly due to the wonky physics (coming back to this from shadow gens was painful) and limited graphical design (hope you like green hill, sky sanctuary and chemical plant), but there's still fun to be had. final horizons dlc is amazing. overall it's a solid game, and hopefully just the first taste of where the future games go.

the gameplay loop definitely isn't a fit for everyone, and can be annoying sometimes, but I absolutely love it. You start the game struggling to kill a small lil jagras, and find yourself at the end of the story fighting what looks like perfect chaos from sonic adventure. i could yap for a while about the numerous things I love about this game, but there's an infinite number of reviews that express it better than I could. Just cop it and try it out.

P.S. capcom how you fumble multiplayer cutscenes so bad

For being a mainline sonic game at full price it's an absolute and complete scam, but if you can get it for like $20 it's definitely worth. Full price for 2 hours of actual gameplay is insane lmao. Stages are short but sweet, with lots of cinematics/qtes and characters chatting through the radio. Network Terminal, Mortar Canyon and some others are lots of fun to speedrun. Still the best looking HE2 game out.
