My Favourite Game for 6 Years now.

Pros:

• The World and it´s Shortcuts
  
• Ton´s of Weapons, Shields, Armor Sets
  
• Gameplay (Block - Attack - look at Stamina Bar)
  
• Co-Op
  
• Replayability (Play as a Knight, as a Mage, Archer, Ninja, etc)

Cons:

• Engine is a direct Port from XBOX 360 with 1280*720 res, 30fps Lock and same Lags as on Console.
  
• Only Controller Buttons show up ingame
  
• Mouse has negative Acceleration, and you See the Mouse all the time
  
• Multiplayer is Broken, takes long time Until you get online, even longer to connect with a Friend
  
• Needs Fast Hardware for not Looking that Good

Conclusion:
If you not afraid of Modding, you can easily fix the first 4 Cons. Visit the Forum and look at the Sticky Threads.
Or Visit Nexusmods/Darksouls

PS: I played only 1 hour with a Controller for some testing. With mods M+K is no problem and also better then a Controller in my perspective.

How M+K is better then Controller (what i think):

• Aiming with a Bow is much Faster
  
• Free Aim with Catalyst or Talisman is easier
  
• You can Walk and Look + change items (Shield, Weapon, Spells, Consumables) at the same time
  
• You can Walk and Look + Run, Use items, Use, 2 Hand your Weapon at the same time
  
• You can use Push to Talk when play with Friends and Voice chat

Works also with other Controllers then only XBOX360 one.

PPS: With mod DSfix it runs also in 3840*2160@50FPS most of the time on a GTX1070
