I you like Motherload, Motherload-likes and mining games in general you'll love this.

It was a fun, entertaining and satisfying 8-hour game, I love mining games to an unhealthy degree so I really enjoyed it, but I am critical. There are many Motherload-likes that are awful, but this is not one of them, this is one of the good ones. Note that when I say 'Motherload-likes' I do not mean that in a negative way, when I positively compare a mining game to Motherload I mean it as a very good compliment.
The developer seems to be involved, fixing bugs and staying on top of things which is great!

Over-all the gameplay did not lack in anything, I was not left wanting something or feeling like something was missing.
It is, from start to finish, smooth, fun and satisfying. It seems to be very well made, no bugs, no issues.
It is right up my alley, I played it as a chill 'couch' game or whatever you want to call it while watching things on another monitor, just how I like to play these games.

So, if you want the verdict from a mining game fanatic: This is one of the great ones and you should absolutely play it!

The controls are great(I used a controller), it has a lot of cool items to buy from the shop, a very large amount of upgrades, modifiers and perks that you research progress for by finding parts while mining that you can equip and un-equip which makes for many different possible strategical approaches.
There is also an elevator which makes it a lot less tedious to fly up/fall down for what feels like minutes at a time, as instead you can take the elevator to different depths that you must discover.

The game has a story and several characters that you can talk to and hidden lore about early human civilization by way of old artifacts and such hidden in the ground.
You go through several different biomes as you mine deeper and deeper, all of which have unique things about them such as enemies & hazards, different temperatures so you must make sure you do not over-heat or over-cool, limited visibility, and other things, and of course different aesthetics.

It has 3 difficulty options alongside a custom difficulty settings menu where you can modify a bunch of different specific modifiers yourself. This is great for re-play ability alongside the decent amount of achievements.

The options menu for the game itself is great and is not lacking, including the ability to turn off screen-shake and controller vibrations. You can re-bind every key, different sliders for different audio, etc.

It's reasonably priced, at the very least put it on your wishlist and get it during a sale.

If you want another game like this I urge you to check out Mining Mechs.

Plantera 2 is pretty much the same exact game as its predecessor except for some expansion in art and some additional plants/animals/items.
It's a simplistic clicker & idler with a reasonable price for the amount of game you get.

It's easy to get 100% achievements, it's a nice little game to have on a 2nd or 3rd monitor while doing other stuff if you're the type of person to enjoy that.
It's not action-filled, it doesn't require much attention from the player at all and you can leave it to 100% idle if you want and just do some upgrades every once in a while, if you want.
Actively clicking in it obviously does speed it up a bit.

Other than the new items to buy and a cheat mode that unlocks inside the new oak tree in the middle of the map at around level 50 it is functionally identical to Plantera 1.

I'd say this store page and the game description does the game justice in terms of what the game is, it's not more or less than what you see on this store page, quite straightforward and you should be able to understand if it's up your street or not.

Where's My Loot? is a short game where the objective is exactly what it says it is: Find the 100 hidden objects in the form of typical items and loot you might find an RPG game on a large medieval-themed map.

It's 1 single large map, you can zoom in quite a lot. I got 95 items in 25 minutes then was stuck on the last 5 for 20 minutes, still didn't find any of the last 5 and then decided to use the hint system, and in my defense the last 5 were a bit cheesy and didn't really follow the rules that had been established for the previous 95 items.

I've had it on my wishlist for quite a while and I just happened to be in the mood for it and I got exactly what I expected out of it, a quick, satisfying game in a theme I enjoy to finish quickly while watching a video on a 2nd monitor before winding down for the night.

I knew this going into it so I'm not bothered by it but do note that the full price probably isn't worth it, I didn't even get a full hour of gameplay out of it.
If it looks like something you'd enjoy as a quick little casual experience one day you might still want to put it on your wishlist and wait for a sale, 1$ feels more rational and reasonable for a such a small, short and simple game.

Nota bene: The game might start in a horrendously low resolution, make sure to increase the resolution by clicking on the Gear icon in the top-right corner if that happens.

I'd only buy this if you've played through the main game and liked it so much that you want to play it more, do some New Game+, etc.

It doesn't add that much, winter theme with fighter-style robots and different minerals. Fewer quests and fluff content. It's a nice way to mix up the game-play if you like to play this game over and over.

I like it but just understand that it doesn't add a ton of stuff, you can look at it as a type of re-skin.
It is reasonably priced though and if you like the game enough to play through it many times I recommend it.

I do not understand why this is not an expansion or DLC to the first House Flipper game. It's the same thing with some updated systems and some new quests. The game is very short, the story-mode being about 8 hours long.

After releasing this game they are planning new DLC for the original House Flipper to be released later this year. It just doesn't really make sense to me.

The game in and of itself is good, I like the updated systems, but again I think it is too short and I think the store lacks greatly in variety. Compared to House Flipper it has almost no content, of course they did not carry over the DLCs from the original. All those systems and innovations have been stripped away.

This should have been implemented as an expansion and systems update to the original, not released as a standalone game.

It's an interesting new shooter game but quickly becomes quite lackluster with only 1 game-mode that is quite repetitive.

I'm not the biggest fan of shooter games where enemies have bullet-sponge levels of HP. It is a zoomer game that requires Adderall and carbohydrate-loading to be able to keep up, if you're looking for a game that's more similar to Counter-Strike mechanically then this is the antithesis, Counter-Strike being much more tactical, skill-based and satisfying, and The Finals being a game where you're darting around and sweating and just have a feeling of relief of it being over when you a win a match, you look like you're tweaking while playing it if you're trying to win. You have to tap into a dormant zoomer part of your brain and reduce your attention span dramatically.

If it had more modes including a classic, tactical 5v5 match with more realistic levels of HP I'm sure I'd play it for a lot longer and enjoy it a lot more.
As it is now it became quite the boring affair after 8 hours of playtime, and stressful.

The game has promise, it can be an interesting game to keep an eye on to see how it evolves.

Worst part about the game that made me stop playing and not waste more time on it is that all players in a party share the same camera. If you do not stay glued to your teammates you will not see yourself and you will die, so you all have to stay huddled together. The most optimal strategy is to just stand still grouped up and wait for the enemies to appear at the corner of the screen which is incredibly boring.
Spreading out, watching someones back, etc. is impossible because of the shared camera.
This isn't a problem if you plan on playing it solo of course but you do get to a point where you can't really complete any missions solo, it is designed to be played cooperatively.

The game-play loop is fairly simple. Enter mission > complete an objective that takes 5-10 minutes > extract > get some XP and progress towards another unlock point > repeat.
There's no story or lore except for an overarching theme of democracy for whatever reason. I found it a bit cringe and ironic(kill everyone who opposes us and our party, for democracy!)

I found the progression to be slow. 60 minutes of straight play and all I got was 1 point to unlock a perk for a gun, no other advancements to my arsenal or character was earned in 1 hour of play.

You can't see your mouse cursor in the game for some reason, awful design choice.
It is painfully obvious that the game is specifically designed to be super friendly for console and have no complexities to it, and later ported to PC with no effort.

Some improvements I think could've been implemented:

Option to mute all sounds except for the loot hero.

Clarification on how many Guard Dogs you should have at any one time based on your garden size, for some reason all other things have this clarified except for the Guard Dog.

Early Access Review
I wanted to play this to see how far I could get without paying money. I got about 1 hour of some-what active play out of it then something came up and I had the game run in the background to live up to its true intention of idling, I came back and got around 1 more hour out of it. At this point I was at an absolute stand-still.

During the 1 hour of idling I gained almost no progress because the way it is set up requires you to be there every couple minutes to upgrade things otherwise you will be hard-stuck on a level and gain no gold.

Eventually you will hit a final wall that you cant get past because your heroes do no damage to the enemies anymore. Here you have 2 options: Pay money or reset your progress to get a pitifully small extra gold bonus. I reset my progress for this bonus 5 times and I managed to only get 1 level higher before I got stuck again managing to progress to level 69 on my first 4 runs and just slightly managing to get to level 70 on my final run before immediately being permanently stuck again. That's when I quit.

It also has an anti-idle mechanic: a special currency to upgrade 1 of the 10 different talent tabs and that currency can only be gained 2 ways: Pay for it with money, of course, or every once in a while a creature holding a bag will run across the screen and you must actively click it to get the currency.

You will get pop-ups with things like "One-time exclusive offer 95% discount $0.99 1900% value!!" and stuff like that.

The game is incredibly boring and monotonous and as described above you can barely progress at all without paying.
It is a mobile app ported to Steam with very, very basic gameplay and features.

Anything and everything in the game can be skipped or boosted or whatever if you just swipe your card.
What's 99 cents, right?

It is designed to attract people with legitimate mental issues, no offense is meant it's just true. Colloquially referred to as whales. It is an awful game and it is meant to be awful unless you pay money, like all other P2W mobile games like this one it is intentionally designed to be a very slow dopamine-drip with a hundred annoyances and intentional problems and issues that have a solution in the cash shop.

My advice: If you want to have an Idler game in your library to play on the side find one that is not Free To Play with In-app purchases. Instead find a game within the genre that costs a reasonable amount of money that you pay once and doesn't have any microtransaction or 50 DLC's.

If you're on the lookout for a Match-3 game to have in your library as a casual side-game then Bejeweled 3 is a definitive classic that you're guaranteed to not go wrong with.
