Being a huge fan of TitanQuest, this is right up my alley since it has many of the same mechanics. It is a very different game, utilizing fantasy storylines as opposed to historical context. It is still a great version of the game that is more of a challenge in many ways.

I love this game. One of the biggest complaints was that it copied the Diablo series, but how many differences can you truly have in this type of game (3D isometric??). This game has a far greater link to history, which is built into the story line very well. The replayability on the game is great and it has the same RnG requirements as every other game in this category. Enjoy!

I started playing this game just two weeks ago (not long after it went live with v. 1.0. I have already logged over 100 hours on it. I am no expert in the game by any means, but this game is absolutely addicting. I'm a little biased because I like space sandbox games and I am very active in other similar games such as "Empyrion Galactic Survival", "Elite: Dangerous" and almost all X universe titles. I didn't really expect a lot from this game because of the little voxel blocks, but you can really do a lot in this game. I love designing ships (that doesn't mean I am good with it) and though the block shapes are limited, the ability to scale them in three dimensions allows us to do anything with them for the most part. Exploring is really a thing, but it could use more polish. I think this game is well worth the money. Get it and prepare to lose hours of your life to fun!

Early Access Review
I love this game! It is not perfect and it most certainly is not finished, but it is fun. I love the building aspect of things. I am looking forward to more block shapes and I am absolutely wanting half- and/or quarter-blocks. We can do quite a lot with what we have been provided, even though some of it is simplistic. I do not consider that a bad thing at all; I am not interested in becoming an engineer and figuring out wiring and all that. Simple is good in this case.

I really do love this game; that said, there are still problems. It is not perfect, but overall it is one of the best space sims I have ever played. It is not as involved as EVE Online and doesn't have that game's cluttered and cumbersome interface. ED has a learning curve like any other game and takes practice to become proficient, but I did not find it as steep as other games in its category. The pricing model from Frontier for upgrades and expansions leaves something to be desired. ED Horizons is way overpriced for what is being delivered; it is more of an incomplete product with promises to finish it, and it will still cost as much as the original game. I will just wait for them to stabilize the release and then wait more for a sale somewhere before I bother getting it.
