Off to an extremely good start and really showing those multi-billion dollar AAA studios where they came from. Excited for achievements!

Few and far between are games released that feel really special right off the bat, and Valheim is definitely one of those games. Everything from the character progression and building to the art style and soundtrack is simply fantastic; and the combat system and sailing have absolutely no business being as good as they are this early on...

While the game is in early access, I feel that for $20 you’re getting waaaay more than what you pay for; there’s tons of things to see and do including 10 player multiplayer with friends (which is insanely fun), and best of all you get to do it all in a genuinely well-crafted game free of the glitches and bugs we know plague many other early access projects. Personally I think one of the best parts about Valheim is being able to play it early and as it evolves, it’s going to be very interesting to see what the developers add to what’s already a very robust and quality experience.

In my opinion this is one of the best titles to come out in recent memory, a huge congratulations to the devs on the successful release of this instant classic! Such a cozy and fun game.

Damn, I don't know what I was doing when this game originally came out in 2015, but I sure am loving it now 2 years after the release in 2017. Tons and tons of content and quests to complete and scenery to admire; then both of those things fused together with fantastic voice acting and gorgeous visuals make this without a doubt one of the best games I've ever played even with only around 11 hours on record at this time. Despite wanting SO badly to delve into the great world of MMORPG's such as Runescape or World of Warcraft in the past, I unfortunately just couldn't find myself very much interested in them. However, having put countless hours into Skyrim on the Xbox 360 and then even more hours on the PC version when I made the wise decision to switch platforms, I finally feel right at home with the heartwarming feel of an Elder Scrolls game in the form of the MMORPG I've always desired. $30 well spent, and will gladly spend another $15 a month for a membership to ensure I get the most out of this amazingly well put-together game. Even going to gift it to a good friend for his birthday.

After a childhood full of playing games like this and watching the genre slowly dwindle away, it is a breath of fresh air to finally have something like this to play that has the graphics of a modern 3D platformer, but the feel and heart of the classics!

Definitely recommend this game. The bugs get pretty annoying, but every alpha has them and they don't ruin the game, at least not for me. Best played with friends, but it's also very intense as a solo and that;s of course a whole different experience.

Would be a game changing game if it ran better, no pun intended. I unfortunately can't recommend this to friends/PC gamers due to the poor performance ruining the experience even on high end hardware.. Truly cannot wait until Beta though; hopefully along with that comes an optimization overhaul because this game is visually stunning and altogether a lot of fun aside from the performance issues and bugs.
