It's a lot less pay to win than it was before as the only thing to buy with real money are visual skins, but the slow addition of content may kill the game before it can take off

You have to create an account from the steam version and cannot use your user from the version from the website client. No thanks.

Interesting concepts, but the game manages to make itself tedious very quickly. First it introduces a concept, then it repeats that concept over and over until you get bored of it. Then it repeats it more. It was fun until the game decided to do a memorization game, over and over. Sure, I'm fine with playing simon says, but don't ask me to keep playing it or it's going to move past then novel phase and into the tedious phase.

I really wish I could pick between a thumbs up and down, because this game has potenial, constant updates, and passionate devs, but there are just so many bugs, systems, and components that if you are a new player and you don't have a friend to guide you, you will struggle, you will fail, and you will hate this game. The fact that rather than fix issues with texture collision, the devs descided to add an "/unstuck" command speaks for itself and I have yet to play a single game session without running into a bug.

The tutorials are severally out of date, new features added are rarely explained propperly, and there almost seems to be a requirement to fail at least once before the game decides you might need an explaination that is still not comprehensive enough. I would have quit this game a long time ago if it were not for people guiding me through the many confusing bits, but honestly, if you are starting this game solo, good luck, because you are going to get overwhelmed as soon as you start.

The worst part is the addition of the open worlds, which is usually something I would like since I love open worlds but the implementation of a host-based system means that if the host disconnects, you lose all of your progress. Imagine that in any other game: you spend hours doing activities and then the host decides to leave and thus you lose everything. at the very least, the devs could follow the method of gta online but with all of the bugs in this game I cannot recommend this game.

Terrible collision detection, awful graphics, and the developer does not care. Buy a burger for a dollar, this developer is just pushing out asset flips via clickfusion 2.5.

1 Easy achievement you get when you start up the game, the controls flash on screen for the first time, and there is no way to read them again without reseting the game. This game is a very simple competitive platformer and simple controls and there really isn't much in it.

So it's an asset flip about asset flip. starting the game and 12 clicks gives you an easy 100%. The game does not save your progress, and there is no tutorial. Buy it in a bundle for the easy 100%, otherwise, just don't bother.

Never played dark souls, so when I saw this as a "dumbed down version" I thought I'd give it a try. Yep, hate it, I decided to go down the light armor method since I usually am a do a quick attack, dodge away, then do a quick a attack again, rinse and repeat until the enemy is dead. Problem is, the level design is so tight and squished together that I feel cramped at all times, and most of the "bosses" tend to just 1 hit kill me. The bosses also tend to be straight difficulty spikes, and when the game decided to just crash in the middle of a boss fight, I gave up. I don't think this game is for me and I am definately not going to bother with the dark souls franchise after this.

There have been a lot of story games I have played and have been recommended to me based on how good their story is. Firewatch has a lot of those same aspects, but where it differs is the simple concept that it is believeable. Could this happen in real life? I think yes, and that is where Firewatch shines. The soundtrack fits the overall mood of the game and your decisions and thoughts play off each other in not too dramatic ways, but enough to make you consider each choice. At this price, however, there are much longer games and stories you could get, but if it's on sale for 75%, it's a no-brainer.

The visuals are great, the story is great, only the price isn't great, but a steam sale can easily fix that.
